Playing XI for India in T20 cup

Now that we are more are less settled with our squad selection. Which XI should be fielded? Gambhir Vijay Raina Yuvraj Dhoni Rohit Yusuf Harbhajan Zaheer Praveen Nehra Raina, Rohit, Yuvi, Yousuf can share 8 or more overs depending on the pitch. If we are going to go with a spinner Nehra or Praveen can be replaced by Chawla.

I agree with the team, the only question is PK. He is not in form and imo, his wickets are more based on batman making mistakes as his bowling is simple and easy

Dhoni should bat at 3 in my opinion. Raina is a compulsive hooker despite not being very good at the shot. Vijay Gambhir Dhoni Raina Yuvraj Rohit Yusuf Bhajji Praveen Zaheer Nehra Obviously if we have a solid opening partnership for 8+ overs then Raina/Yuvi can walk out at three.

As expected, most people have gone in with 4 bowlers, with the batsmen combining to do 5th bowler's job. That would be a good move, if we had 4 decent bowlers but you have to remember that one of Nehra or PK (VK), could go for a lot so that some overs from that quota have to be bowled by some of the guys too I see this as 3 decent bowlers in Zak, Bhajji and Jadeja. Hopefully one of Nehra and 3rd seamer would deliver. which means Raina, Rohit and company would be bowling out a few overs from the quota

:dito: but I would also try PK in some matches because he can also bat in crucial matches .. maybe I would try VK and if failed bring PK instead I am also not sure if the Gauti/Vijay combo will be able to give the momentum required in powerplay overs .. if they fail for several matches I would give a couple of chance to YP too for one or two matches .. his mishits might be beneficial in the initial overs in WI pitches as many might go for boundaries in the field restrictions

Totally forgot about Jadeja. That will give us 9 batsmen including Harbhajan. I think Rohit will definitely play coz he can bowl a few overs. So it is going to be a tussle between KKD and Vijay. Gauti/Vijay running between the wickets.. a disaster waiting to happen
