zen Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 There is a need to standardize the rankings. May be you guys could use the format below: Truely exceptional film, game changer, thought provoking: 10 All time classic: 9 Classic, award winner, etc: 8 High quality and entertaining: 7 Above average, Timepass: 6 Avg, not bad but could have been better, no harm in trying it out: 5 Below avg, watch only if you have nothing better to do: 4 Poor, watch only for if you are a fan or whatever: 3 Crap, watch at your own risk: 2 Avoid at all cost: 1 :icflove:

Aaku Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 I ll follow flamez rating pattern and I download Exam.. dkay k suggestion pey ! 6 !
Watson87 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 The Wrestler ----> Good performance by Micky Rourke! Crossfire Trail ----> A western starring Tom Selleck. It's based upon Louis L'amour's book. I guess, it is a made for TV movie but it is one of the good westerns. A good mix of drama and action. D-Gray Man ----> A Japanese cartoon series about exorcists. Pretty entertaining. Dersu Uzala ----> A Kurosowa film that probably won the best foreign film in 1975. It's about the relationship b/w a hunter and the commander a Russian surveying team (mapping). This is not for everyone but for those who like Kurosowa's work this should be on the watchlist. Rating for the above 7-8/10. That's my favorite anime after Great Teacher Onizuka, watch full metal alchemist, Soul eater and Blood the last vampire, pretty good too. I had a japanese girlfriend who used to make me watch these animes:--D
Zelig Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 My favorite animes are Spirited Away and Akira. Spirited...is such a powerful movie too :nice:
