I live here but simply cannot stand the media hype when these jokers do well. Watch how they turn an England Australia final into some kind of mini ashes.
My post was kinda directed to you, gathered from your username, surely England should be your second team being a resident of England and all, I mean im not exactly the biggest england fan out there but still seem bound by some form of patriotism to support them.

^ Just watch sky right now.
Its been forever since we got to a final. There not going to sit there and say "yeh england are in the final, im not excited at all, in fact I wish england didnt make it to the final so I didnt have to hype these jokers."

With the footy world cup round the corner I will probably end up routing for England. When the tennis is on I'm happy to back Andy Murray but there is something about the cricket team that I dislike. Take for example their attitude on twenty20. Prior to this success t20 was hit and giggle, only for those who don't understand the game, etc and now they're all loving it.

Its weird because almost every cricket fan in England with heritage in another country, Pak, Ind, WI etc will always support that nation. Rarely do people support england if they have an alternative. I just dont see whats so vulgar about England, sure they come across as annoying but still.

Australia will be the favourites. But it's great to see the improvement made by the English in such a short time. IIRC they were beaten by holland last time. Just wondering if the fact that none of the english bowlers played in the IPL had an effect. Obviously the t20 leagues in england are of a higher standard so the bowlers might have had to work harder for wickets. You've seen how IPL champions like malinga have been hit around the park in the world t20 comp. I'd say if India are serious about making it to semi finals next time they should get their bowlers to play in KFC big bash, super sport t20 or the english competition. IPL is not a high enough standard I'm afraid...

Both teams have been formidable in this world T20. If Australia goes through it will be the first time Australia will meet England in a tournament final since 1987 if i am right.
