No. They shouldn't be banned. They are going on an Associates tour after their ODI series in England - playing Ireland, Scotland and Netherland. They should just continue to do that, become part of the Second tier of international cricket. They can aim to become the India / Australia of the Associates.

Why not have a ODI tournament involving Bangladesh as one of the fixed team. The format of the tournament should be for other teams to earn as much bonus point and winning (thrashing) difference against Bangladesh. So all the teams will play 2 matches against Bangladesh. They'll not play against each other. All the teams will play against Bangladesh only and top 2 teams getting maximum bonus points and handing over maximum thrashing to Bangladesh, will qualify for the finals. Based on that format Pakistan would've easily qualified for finals along with another experienced minnowbasher Srilanka, this time. India wouldn't have qualified..

You ban a team from cricket because they conceded 350+ runs in an ODI? Do you guys even recall the kinds of scores that were rattled up during our previous home bilateral series against Lanka and South Africa? Lanka nearly chased down 400 against us. Besides, what can you really do if a batsmen chooses that day to play a blinder? Admitted that most of the matches that B’desh play are not extremely riveting contests, but how many matches are engaging these days? Some of the blind hate here for B’desh makes me wonder if it is not just cricketing results, but something a lot more deeper and disturbing that drives people here. Sober up people, have you forgotten how pathetic a team we were on occasions, right through the 90s? We couldn’t win a cricket match outside the subcontinent to save our lives.
