Sid Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 dont be so harsh.they r just learning. we also did similar not too long back.remember?http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/441829.html firstlly it was second string side, secondly dont compare india to bangladesh for that matter any other test side to bangladesh, they have been doing this for last 10 years and even after playing so much they still play like this, and also which bangladesh part you love which makes you defend them bcoz you are defending a lost case
vvvslaxman Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Yes We cannot compare odd instances of other teams to the all the time instances of Bangladesh.
Lord Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 firstlly it was second string sid so wat,u dont play to win? ,secondly dont compare india to bangladesh for that matter any other test side to bangladesh, they have been doing this for last 10 years and even after playing so much they still play like this, and also which bangladesh part you love which makes you defend them bcoz you are defending a lost casenot comparing or defending, just saying even top teams do it,so we should cut some slack to countries like BD
Jadoo Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 dont be so harsh.they r just learning. we also did similar not too long back.remember?http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/441829.html Learning???? Come on man, give it a rest. They have had plenty of time and opportunities to improve, but have failed to do so. If countries like Zimbabwe or Ireland were given the same chances than they would have grapped it with both hands and done a lot better. And the match you just linked was after we had already won the 3 match series.
Lord Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Learning???? Come on man' date=' give it a rest. They have had plenty of time and opportunities to improve, but have failed to do so. If countries like Zimbabwe or Ireland were given the same chances than they would have grapped it with both hands and done a lot better.[/quote'] Ifs n buts:wall:.dont forget this team knocked us out of WC 2007 And the match you just linked was after we had already won the 3 match series. n BD r already out of reckoning.
ZodiaC Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Learning???? Come on man, give it a rest. They have had plenty of time and opportunities to improve, but have failed to do so. If countries like Zimbabwe or Ireland were given the same chances than they would have grapped it with both hands and done a lot better. And the match you just linked was after we had already won the 3 match series. They wouldn't have done shite. They'll stay for sometime and after a losing streak critics will start ranting against them too. Plus lets see how the Irish perform against Bangbros in the upcoming series.
Jadoo Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Ifs n buts:wall:.dont forget this team knocked us out of WC 2007 n BD r already out of reckoning. Do you have to bring that up again?? Ireland beat the Paki's, does that mean that their now entitled test match status!! They may have already been knocked out, but they have more to proove than us considering we lost after having one a series against a very good SA side, wholst Bangla boys haven't won an ODI match this year.
ZodiaC Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 if they tried they'd been out for 150 wat they r doing is ensure they bat full 50 ovs.if they can do that more often.they can develop from there++
gaurav92 Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 You ban a team from cricket because they conceded 350+ runs in an ODI? Do you guys even recall the kinds of scores that were rattled up during our previous home bilateral series against Lanka and South Africa? Lanka nearly chased down 400 against us. Besides, what can you really do if a batsmen chooses that day to play a blinder? Admitted that most of the matches that B’desh play are not extremely riveting contests, but how many matches are engaging these days? Some of the blind hate here for B’desh makes me wonder if it is not just cricketing results, but something a lot more deeper and disturbing that drives people here. Sober up people, have you forgotten how pathetic a team we were on occasions, right through the 90s? We couldn’t win a cricket match outside the subcontinent to save our lives. But they conceded 385 against Pakis :headshake: They should be b& :orderorder:
cowboysfan Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 i think the ICC seriously need to rethink their test status .I am ok with them playing t20s and odis but their continuous losses in tests is not good for the game.
Texy Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 I would say they played much better recently in tests against England.... their ODI prospect doesn't look good except Tamim
Sid Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 I would say they played much better recently in tests against England.... their ODI prospect doesn't look good except Tamim Well their any prospect doesnt look good without Tamim:haha:
Gunner_Mania Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 I don't understand this banning business. So they are shyte but why should they be banned? I mean Pakistan have been shyte too for a long time now. Why shouldn't they be banned? I can understand if somebody said that they should be part of a second tier. Frankly we should be taking the blame for using them as pawns in our power game to gain more power in the ICC when they did not have a domestic structure and were not ready. What is done cannot be undone?
yoda Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 then we need to ban ourselves from tontee-tontee :nervous:
ZodiaC Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Well their any prospect doesnt look good without Tamim:haha: 5 wickets hauls for Shahadat and Shakib, 163 runs @ 40.75 for Imrul Kayez, and 139@34.75 for Junaid Siddique. Not pathetic considering their experience.
Lord Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Do you have to bring that up again?? Ireland beat the Paki's' date=' does that mean that their now entitled test match status!![/quote'] how many more test sides apart from BD hv Ireland beaten?BD hv beaten,Ind,SA,Aus,SL,Pak.they r still learning.every team develops like that.remember Gavaskar 36 not out off 174 balls?we won the WC 8 years later, what if we were banned then? They may have already been knocked out, but they have more to proove than us considering we lost after having one a series against a very good SA side, wholst Bangla boys haven't won an ODI match this year. so what?they realised they just dont hv i in them to score 385,Shakiib admiited it in presentation ceremony.thier only chance was a blanzing 150 by Tamim, once he went,it was wise to shut shhop n avoid being bowled out
IKnowU Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Let those bachas play......let them suffer in humiliation :hehe:
Gunner_Mania Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Three-and-a-half hours of torture In affectionate remembrance of ODI cricket, which was killed by Bangladesh at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, 21st June, 2010. Deeply lamented by a large circle of sorrowing friends and acquaintances, RIP. NB The body will be cremated and the Ashes brought back to Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium for another tri-series involving India and Sri Lanka, in August 2010. More Pakistan V Bangladesh.. the new One day Ashes :woot: or India V Srilanka :wall:
Sachinism Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 lulzers BTW Ind-SL today is the 2999th ODI Eng-Aus playing later today is the 3000th ODI
