Reading the comments here' date=' [b']you’d think some of these guys were literally there and saw the whole thing happen in front of their eyes, right from the point when the girl went abroad to the point when she came back.

I write essays in the same manner in which you keep incessantly whining and moaning about moderation. :hahaha: Btw, thanks for taking up the ICF’s admin panel’s offer to become a mod. I am 100% sure that starting now onwards, ICF will be the beacon of fair and balanced moderation. :yay:

Hmm.. this is confusing. The report says she gave birth on the plane and was visiting the washroom regularly. So she delivered the baby by herself in the washroom without anyone knowing? :omg: And one usually gets weak after a delivery so she just walked out without anyone noticing? Did I miss something?

bahadur punjabi kudi  seriously, she couldn't have planned it. Plan A would have been to give birth in India and then get rid of the baby.

I can't help but wonder how she timed her flight journey to perfection. Makes it look like it was a master-plan that was hatched long back! Brilliant idea and timing, but poor execution. :cantstop: No offense.

Look whose talking about random blabbering, the dude who brought up the totally related issue of 'long posts'. I am guessing that is 100% related to the topic of an Indian women trying to abandon her newborn child on board an airplane. :giggle::giggle: And why do you keep side-stepping the question? Since you're so peeved at the moderation here, why dont you take up the offer and become a Mod? So you're just one those guys who likes to Talk the talk and doesnt Walk the walk?

Why are we so quick to judge? Have any of you guys even heard of post partum depression? Obviously she did not abort before because she wanted to have the child. Most probably during the delivery, coupled by the fact that she was alone, unmarried and on a plane(the last part is one which stresses many people) might have have caused her to lose perspective. Here are some articles http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/keyword/postpartum-depression Perfectly healthy, happily married women have tried to/succeded in abandoning and/or killing their newborns after delivery or in the sunsequent weeks Lets not sit in judgement on another human being without knowing ALL the facts about what she has gone through. And it has nothing to do with her being a medical student. It affects 80% of women and some seriously and impairs their judgement

Some of u are missing the whole point, she's confessed to the police about giving birth and discarding the baby for crying out loud. What according to u is the 'whole story' ? A DNA test maybe ?

I caught a news report on the deaths of babies after they are left in cars on summer days. Apparently when one parent is not used to dropping the baby to day care for instance, the primitive part of the brain is running the show while they're driving to work. Essentially, the parent is on auto pilot. They leave the baby in the car, thus completely forgetting the day care story, and on the hot summer day the baby dehydrates and dies. Now is this criminal negligence or just the incompetent brain of ours ? Which crime isn't related to decisions made by the brain ? Anything and everything we do can be traced to our genes/upbringing/mental state etc. Is it not essential for the law to prevail for such a heinous crimes ? Many animals and birds fight till the end to protect their young ones .. shall we at least match up to them before claiming to be the superior species on this planet ?

The law is in a much better position to judge because it will go through all the evidence before passing a verdict unlike you guys who are basing everything on an incomplete report!!! Do you know that courts have given exceptions to mothers who have proved they suffered from past natal depression? There might be neglect involved, a crime might have taken place, but you and i are in no position to judge that from here. I would rather be polite to an actual criminal if there is a chane that i might be abusing a blameless girl

Hello...This is a MB where people post articles and respond. We are not the jury or the judge and in case you are wondering, no punishment will be given based on our responses. :winky:

Maybe her parents should have abstained 20 odd years ago instead!
:hysterical: Best response on this topic!!! BTW, wonder what would be the citizenship of the baby?!?

They should teach birth control in medical schools. A baby is concieved by two people. While most people are commenting on ths *****,no one cares to write about that son of a ***** who didn't even have to suffer the excruciating pain and unbelievable humiliation of giving birth in a plane toilet.
