C'mon, if all indians start thinking like you, then probably no one should ever connect with anything indian. Like TV programs eg. IPL or even the indian cricket team series. Forget that, we should not even eat any indian food as probably they are not in good quality as there can be some mixing. It is not like this is something odd in our country, so stop acting like an anti indian and start seeing some good issues of cwg not just the bad issues about cwg
b555 Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 watever it is, we are hosting it and we should be proud of it doing wat a country with 1 billion + can do, we have done more than that

yoda Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Is this shown live in the US? If so I will just to see how well or poorly we are organizing it.
Cricketics Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 You are not an Indian if you have the access and you ignore it. India is first time going to host a big event like Commanwelath games, an event which is 2nd to Olympics..
The Outsider Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Is this shown live in the US? If so I will just to see how well or poorly we are organizing it. I doubt it given US has nothing to do with the Commonwealth even remotely. Though I suspect online links would be available for it, like they were for the Hockey World Cup. Also, it will probably be shown on DD in India and they have an online streaming channel (at least they used to a while back).
Ram Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Commonwealth what? I was looking forward to seeing Usain Bolt in action, but expectedly, that is not going to happen. I’ll probably watch specific events (shooting, wrestling, badminton etc) once the events start and our athletes near their quest of gold medal glory, but by and large, it is going to be one listless show – Generally mediocre athletes, shabby facilities, near empty stands and organizers who are more interested in their next tea breaks.
asterix Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I'll try to catchup with day's highlights. Praying hard that the games get over with India's reputation intact...
ViruRulez Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I will watch in parts for sure and opening ceremony etc. but not all of the games .. I will watch as time permits
bharathh Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Why should you punish the athletes for the greed of the administrators? When the CWG start, it is time to give our athletes the support they deserve.
