This guy is biggest idiot I have seen with so much double standards. He said Sachin should quit in 2007 3 years ago when Sachin was 34 but he says Ricky is great batsmen and captain best suited for Australia. He is 35 older than what Sachin was and I have not seen him apologize to Sachin. Hayden was never criticized by him till he retired. But he wanted Ganguly and Kumble out wouldn't stop whining about them until they quit also but he never says anything negative about Aussies but always ready to jump on Indians and their short comings. He is biggest whiner about how India don't deserve to No1, He is says Indian bowling attack is woeful but the fact Kumble retired and he is biggest match winner and that never gets mentioned when talking about problems with India bowling attack. Indian Bowling in Srilanka for third test was least experienced unit of all the test bowling nations who were bowling on batting paradises.that fact is also conveniently over looked. Aussies are rebuilding this is common fricking theme from these Aussies because Shane Warne and Mcgrath retired 3 years ago and they are still rebuilding. Johnson has become crap bowler but it is just loss of form. which has lasted 2 years. They had to rely on part time off spinner and part time medium pacer in Shane watson to win one test in England is very much okay when bowling conditions were best for swing /fast bowling their fast bowler looked awful and inept. Aussie beat up a piss poor Pakistan and Westindies at home so they are great. where as India played SA, Srilanka at home and away recently on batting pitches and still won one series and drawn the other two with major injuries to their main players they are all forgotten very easy.

Yes offcourse, My bad. But they couldnt beat them when thye played away. That itself sums up Aus is no more what it used to be. So Chappal should start whining about them now.

As I said in a previous thread, Ashes will be a battle between the 4th and 5th ranked teams. :hehe: But don't worry, it will still be hyped up by Aussie and English media as if they're the two top teams in the world.

I think both the chappel brothers wshud be shot to death.... they are sppsodly the oldest cricket experts alive and come up with the crapiest of arguements.... @putreveus : Great pt... cmpltly agree with wat u said abt mitchel johnson.... his been woeful since eternity but still the austrailian cmmntattor say he's a greayt bowler and is goin thru a lean patch...

Ian Chappel and Sanjay Manjrekar are the two biggest haters when it comes to Indian cricket. Both waste no opportunity to run down our achievements. And their opinions should be given no weightage.

I respect both Sanjay & Ian for what they have achieved. Its a big thing for a Mumbai ki gali ka chhora to play International cricket for quite some time and turn into a commentator, an analyst and show host, despite studying in a Marathi medium-school and barely knowing English. His opinions can be a touch controversial at times.

Probably they are opportunities, they know if they want to become famous and people to know them, they only need to make some specific comments about India and suddenly millions will reacting to their comments, they will go to talk shows to explain their comments. More publicity and more money for them and more entertainment for us.

Ghanta.. Sanjay isnt your average "Mumbai ki gali ka chora" like Tendulkar or Kambli. Fact is, Sanjay's dad played many more tests for India than he did.

Ian Chappell carries an axe to grind against Sachin because he feels Sachin is responsible for his brother Greg's exit as Indian team coach.simple as that.he may be a decent commentator but when it comes to indian cricket he is not impartial. he carries a few chips on his shoulder and does not care about settling scores.

Moral of the story: I respect the man for the person he is. Thats the bottomline.
