Number Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 has good attitude ..but needs to develop some shots and has bat habitof fishing out side of stump and never really looks settled to me in tough conditions dont compare him to dravid lol Mosts of his shots are scratchy may be that's why he looks unsettled at times. Agree , shouldn't be compared to RD. Dravid may had last lesser no. of shots earlier in his career but he looked classy whenever he played them. rabinjackman Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 one innings and he is compared with Dravid

Number Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Good innings. Least talented out of all Pakistani batsmen but he is solid. Temperament really matters.
Sarkar Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Rahul Dravid scored in foreign conditions not on patta flat tracks even murali vijay can score a test century in asia.
SLICKR392 Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Rahul Dravid scored in foreign conditions not on patta flat tracks even murali vijay can score a test century in asia. He did. :hatsoff:
MCcricket Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 But then purely on merit Rahul is India's best test batsmen ever, he has scored all over the world and also I think his first and second innings average isn't that bad, not necessarily the most talented but the most effective, India's most reliable test bat.
Old guy Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 But then purely on merit Rahul is India's best test batsmen ever' date=' he has scored all over the world and also I think his first and second innings average isn't that bad, not necessarily the most talented but the most effective, India's most reliable test bat.[/quote'] plz add imho at end :(( i dont like where this post will take things :hysterical:
MCcricket Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 plz add imho at end :(( i dont like where this post will take things :hysterical: LOL yes I was wondering about all the sycophants who will be offended by this but it is just a honest truth ain't it, Dravid's career coincided with many of India's greats and always he was the most dependable bat and in any condition, Pakistan no longer have the batting talent that they had with Zaheer, Raja's, Miandad, all their batsmen seem to not have the temperament or technique to play test's, I would love to see a resurgent Pakistan side, W I, India since cricket now is being dominated by SA, eNGERLAND, aUSSIES.:nervous:

MCcricket Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 W I to me is turning a leaf, they seem to have found the talent, locals are now taking more to the game, WICB sucks though.India is held behind by Cheeka and co, BCCI AND Dhoni hopefully there is a change of guard soon, Pakistan cricket has seen soo much turmoil, SA, ENGLAND, AUSTRALIAN boards have been more organized, nurture their talent and the player development and progress have been really good as there are long term plans, sadly BCCI has none.
