Good team though I wont have Nehra in my ODI team for worldcup..He just sucks on flat wickets and on WC pitches in India, he is gonna screw us over...I rather have Irfan Pathan, Umesh Yadav or RP Singh instead of :--D(Nehra)

agree with everything.Ishant is simply not capable of bowling in limited overs cricket.he bowls one or two pathetic gimme balls every over which you just cannot do in modern cricket.we should also have given a chance to Ashwin and tiwary but they didnt give them a single game.

I agree entirely about Ashwin. He made 38 quick runs and took two wickets in his only ODI (against Lanka in Zim). He at least deserves a chance to show if he can do it consistently at international level, especially given the struggles of the incumbent no.7. This was the perfect opportunity to test him as we still have some more games before the World Cup to finalize the XI. And no point picking Tiwary in consecutive squads if he isn't considering good enough to get a game even when Karthik, Virat, Rohit and Raina all failed through the tournament.

selectors need to decide which 2 from rohit, kohli, kartik and jadeja they want to keep around incase we have a injury before world cup. my picks would be kohli and rohit. we dont have an allrounder so lets accept it and move on; Dhoni will never go with 5 bowlers so yuvi and sehwag will have to do more bowling its as simple as that. Now we need a power hitter at 7 its either uttapa or one of pathan brothers; With not much time before WC we dont have to groom any of the newer players, lets go with players we have already invested so heavily on

Couldnt agree more! but despite that I can very much doubt seeing that. The allround place will generally eb swaped between jadega and the brother Yusuf! Both who's spin talent is nothing arguably greater than the likes of sehwag or yuvi to say the least! Not to mention thinkless batsmen who would swing at any given ball which is what T20 has done to our ODI cricket! But will the BCCI or Dhoni for that matter ever learn...... ....we hope so before the progression of the world cup commences!

The 3 people mentioned in the OP should be dropped for sure. We have had enough of their non performances. And the players to be brought in, well Irfan I dont know , its like my mind says no but my heart says yes. I know he would struggle in the sub continent because of the 1-D type of bowling that he has developed, but his all round abilities and the hope that maybe he can regain his past magic, makes me believe that he should be back. No YKP though he's useless as mud. Ishant ->I believe should be preserved for tests though. There's no harm in harnessing players for one format ,specially the most important one. Ashwin->Can be a case in point as an AO. I am afraid though that even his career path would be Irfanesque. Pujara-> IMO should be drafted into the test side as of now. Because we are going to struggle more in TC once the big guns retire. Bring back Sreesanth as a bowler. He's one who can run through sides provided he has his wits in check.
