:laugh: What the hell is this Pakistan High Commissioner smoking! This guy is pure gold for comedy value! And why in the world would any cricket board nominate a High Commissioner to be their representative at such a critical juncture. PCB are not just a corrupt organization but an extremely foolish one as well. What kind of cricket administrative experience does he have? Is he even on knowing terms with the people involved from the ICC to be taken seriously? This is quite frankly a dumbfounding decision. Moreover, it would have some merit if they guy was actually a well versed spokesperson aware of the sensitivity of the situation. But he is a complete buffoon. I am actually genuinely surprised that such a buffoon is representing Pakistan in England. I mean this is not some remote Chad or Nigeria, where you can throw in any person as a diplomat. This is England, a country with a huge Pakistani origin population, a country which has some very delicate issues with Pakistan with regards to some of the terrorist attacks, a country which has racial tensions with Pakistanis living there. I am just baffled.

wasn't this proved as false. saying he was just adjusting his grill. Man so mny things happen with these guys its hard to keep track of anything.
any one who watches that video clip would agree that Ameer was talking with his hand on the grill.the guy escaped by the skin of his teeth mainly because the video clip was not long enough to show the next 2 minutes and also because the manager who was sitting next to him later vouched for the fact that all player's fones were taken once they entered dressing room. it may also mean that Ameer was talking to some one with the phone inside the helmet, and the phone belinged to Yawar saeed...who was the only person whose phone is allowed in the dressing room as manager.i wont be surprised one bit if that is true, considering the cash strapped PCB Tour manager arranged a chaffeur driven mercedes for the duration of his stay in London( read in some thread on another forum)...

Pak minister threatens to sue ICC "The ICC has made a very serious allegation, and it will be an exemplary case if the charges turn out to be untrue. This is not only a matter of cricketers' pride, also national pride. A cricketer when he goes to play abroad is a representative of his country. Salman Butt, Amir are known as Pakistani players. We will sue ICC if the charges are not proven. British laws are very strict in this regard. It will be very expensive for ICC." http://www.timesnow.tv/Pak-Sports-Minister--Well-sue-ICC-if-players-not-guilty/articleshow/4353021.cms

Pakistan is not the only country to be involved in match fixing allegations. Such allegations have plagued the South Africans, Indians, the IPL T20, the Indian Cricket League), and prominent West Indies players. Anyone can make allegations, but unless they are proven they remain only allegations. The solution to the problem of match fixing is to decide whether to make betting legal or illegal. It is legal in England, but illegal in India and Pakistan, but still betting continues here. It is not the job of the Sports Ministry to put an end to it. It is for the ICC and others to decide," said Jakhrani.
:hmmmm2: How is it the job of ICC to put an end to illegal betting in India and Pakistan?

So basically, it's okay for players to fix and later blame everything on illegal betting? Jahil Paki minister, first tell your players to report any fixing related issues to ICC, like players of all the other teams are doing..Instead of telling what ICC to do, tell your corrupt players and cricket board to implement ICC guidelines and report any fixing activities...

Old news. There are rumors that Butt claimed it was money for his sisters wedding or something like that. But why open a new thread for this?
Not exactly... earlier only cash was found. But this time it has been determined that the cash was the same "marked" cash that was handed to Majeed by NOTW. If this is indeed true, then no further proof would be required to press charges.

**** these paki *****s. if u didn't hate the paki cricket team before, this will push u over the edge for sure. these bunch of jaahil animals are alienating themselves everyday with their pathetic acts of denial and lame conspiracy theories. the involvement of the high commissioner in particular is vomit-inducing. the guy hasnt got a ****ing clue what has happened, yet he insists that his kuutta cricketers are innocent. what a monumental SOB this guy is. the evidence found is impossible to argue against, yet the pakis are trying their hardest to do it and i guess, to our entertainment, it will be fun to watch them grovel like the retards that they are once the findings are fully out in the open and the punishment is imposed. the more they deny what has happened, the more often their middle finger is being stuck to the cricket community . its like they dont even give a **** what has happened, nobody can touch their great allah-fearing kirketters and anyone who does is a intelligence operative or whatever ridiculous **** they mgiht be saying. they are basically wiping their inbred behinds with the fabric of the game sue the ICC? LOL. PCB hasnt got a tin can to **** in. beggars shouldnt be making threats... **** pakistan, **** your cricketers and **** your fans.
