^ Very true indeed. And what is wrong with Trott? First the news of him provoking Akmal in a game came up and now this. This is no business of his and neither is the acting preacher for cricket so why does he need t poke his nose into other people's business? And I ECB CEO termed this as an incident of minor nature. That is piece of crap IMO. He can't go ahead and call anyone as guilty without it being proved actually. And hitting someone on the face with the pads is condemnable.

I dont think Trott had any business messing with an opponent player physically, whatever was the situation. If PCB does go ahead with legal proceedings, he might find himself in some trouble. I think it will be sorted out at diplomatic levels though. Normally anyone else in Butt's position would have tried to avoid going to court over this. England tried to give Pakistan an opportunity and Pakistan has really messed it all up for England as much as they could. Under the circumstances, the least they could do now, if they have any shame is not to drag one of their players into court. But then its too much to expect any kind of sense from Pakistan.

The amount of hostility that Pakistani fans are showing towards the English is amazing considering England offered to host their matches when Pak cricket was going through a very difficult time. Srilanka was another victim. What Pakistani fans are refusing to recognize in their delusion is that they are suffering huge set back with each such incident. When you said you need to move on, you dont understand that you have lost way too much to ignore and move on. After Srilanka, you could not play matches in your own country and now After England, most teams would not only refuse to host your matches but would hesitate to even play Pakistan. So you cant just move on like that, you have to take some very serious consequences from here on. England will kick themselves for ever helping Pakistan and they will move on. The rest of the world will shed tears for the state of cricket and will move on. Pakistan might get stranded in a no-mans zone however finding that moving on is not as easy anymore.

It will take just one or two test series played in UAE to realise that this wont work for tests. Tests will be played on empty grounds, pitches will not be upto the mark and very soon Pakistn my have to look for another option for home matches.

Honestly speaking we have never had such a corrupt and stupid person running the board. Since the time he took over we have seen so many infightings, nil management, silly media comments, PCB u-turns, and touring team going through problems. Prime example is that joke of a "presentational level" security he provided and later had guts to defend it has retardness written all over it. I hope ECB sues him and he resigns. Someone like Ehsan Mani need to run the board. He will atleast do much better than Butt, or for the fact anyone will do better than Butt. Imran Khan would be ideal, but he's doing better good for the country by staying in political. Man has helped millions of poor people in Pakistan. Hope to see him leading our country one day.

I respect your opinion but Ehsan Mani is pretty much an anti-BCCI man at the end of the day. His rants over the past 2 years have been regular and he's not as shrewd as the PCB boss when Sharad Pawar had taken over the BCCI, around 05-06. Bring that officebearer back. I think he resigned along with Pervez Musharraf, but he knew how to keep India happy and get his work done.
