A local channels broadcaster, getting a major International channel. That too sports which most of the time is a PPV, gotta be a pretty big thing. Though i guess, rogers cable is something not desis don't buy in Canada???

Rogers is like a Giant, almost like AT&T but their cable is local in Ontario or maybe some other eastern provinces. Rest of Canada has Bell Satellite ( Echostar so same as Dishnetwork ) In B.C, we have Shaw Cable and for some reason, things come very slowly here - i suspect the multicultural demand in Ontario is lot more so channel like CBN almost came 2 years late here. There are other Indian Channels like Star Plus etc which are ONLY available to Rogers but I don't get the business model, they are losing out on Rest of Canada? and this Neo Cricket is like BIG so when they say ONLY ON ROGERS - its almost criminal - http://www.asiantelevision.com/atnneocricket.htm Check the Schedule - http://asiantelevision.com/curr_atnneocricket.htm ATN is also based out of Toronto, so you can see the bias, perhaps they need more TV as thats the only thing they can do when buried under 100 feet of snow

Daymn. They had made a village out Vancouver i guess. Some things reach, some things don't.. Some area boutg to reach but a little late. But i doublt they can bring now Neo on any other calbe since one big Cable network is going to carry such big channel, so other might not get the contract for carrying it since Roger got the contract.

FK Knows, its all about Market. If they don't see much potential then they leave it, but its not just Vancouver, its entire province of BC + other provinces CBN is share in Bell, Shaw, Telus, Rogers...so why not ATN Neo - how many subs will they get in Ontario alone

How do you get a free preview for 2 months?

By doing nothing basically if you are a subscriber of Roger's digital tv (local cable tv). Unfortunately, it's not available in the US at the moment :((. I suppose they're running a promotion of a few channels and for the Neo Channel, it said free preview until Dec 28 in the tv guide's description initially. Btw the receptionist at the ATN office didnt know much about this channel, which was quite surprising.

Howz the quality

Video quality is quite good on the whole. Once in a while, it freezes/"pixelates" for a split second. Wrt to the programs, it is similar to Zee Sports with the major difference being that it will show domestic/indian matches.

I tried calling Dial C yesterday but it doesnt work.. Is it a regular number or one of those wierd number where you have to pay seperate money/minute
