Should we play Munaf ?

Nehra gets rattled too much for a bowler of his experience, his first five overs went for 9 runs and last five went for 48 that is just not acceptable for bowler who is supposed to lead Indian bowling attack for world cup.

lol who doesn't in one day cricket??? Wherever you play these days all get taken for cleaners. Zaheer with so much experience is sort of ordinary bowler too in odi's in the end. Every bowler is. I haven't seen any great good at death bowler consistent for India in past 15 yrs. Name me a fast bowler who would bowl better than Nehra.. I am not saying Nehra is best odi bowler in ODI. May be there is some hidden talent, but no one has bowled well enough or no 3 bowlers have bowled better to be included in the team at the same time when Nehra in squad. When 3 seamers are played, Nehra should always be 1 of them because he definately in top 3 and woudl bowl better than his peers.

I agree with you ticz Nehra is currently our Second Best bowler, and he is an automatic choice for the world cup to me.

I cant that is why India has done very poorly in big tournaments, if our batting fails to reach 300 plus we can safely assume match is gone. But we as fans can hope these guys can learn something with so many opportunities given to them. Zaheer I think is worse than Nehra that is why I called Nehra spearhead of our bowling attack in world cup. Aussies might be playing with their second string bowling attack but our main bowling attack is not so much better than what we have seen today.

Vinay Kumar is crap with the Old ball and with the New Ball. Munaf is decent with both. Even a Dinda would have made beter contribution than VK.

Munaf should have played these series all games infact i was shocked to hear that he isn't playing when they showed on TV and also was surprised Dhoni took an extra Batsmen in place of a allrounder/bowler i.e Jadeja

its no use of a bowler cannot control the scoring rate in the death overs its ok if he does not get wickets but its important he doesnt give away mor ethan 6 to 8 runs which itself is more munaf is good at this he is needed into the team now
