vvvslaxman Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 But the criteria for the great innings has been changed to "Did he bat with tailenders ?" If no' date=' put them in Tendulkar's bracket [/quote'] It is very hard to tell who is tailender who is top order in this current Pakistan team.
Rajiv Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 But the criteria for the great innings has been changed to "Did he bat with tailenders ?" If no' date=' put them in Tendulkar's bracket [/quote'] aahahhha! OK, Bhai Log - That mean "heads" bhi tera aur "Tails" bhi tera
Clarke Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 one of the top innings ever ? That's really an exaggeration now. This classification comes from the same old 'matchwinner' theory wherein someone being at the crease at the end is more important than any other aspect of the game.
donkey Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Talk about overstating. Bro it wasnt just about scoring against an ever climbing required rate, he literally scored all those runs on his own. And he had already slammed 4 of his 10 sixes before his 50 so it was pretty well calculated inning .
gaurav92 Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 LOL! One innings and the trolls jump in joy and mark it as the best ever ? Give me a break guys.If in the next game, they see afridi scoring a half century in double quick time, they will come here and post it as the best ever.Actually the Best Ever has often been overused to describe every ordinary innings that they witness, :headshake:
ZodiaC Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 What an innings! :omg: Not best ever n all that lol but Razzaq is a matchwinner really. One of the best odi knock by a paki.
ZodiaC Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Taking nothing away from Razzaq, but pathetic captaincy by Botha TBH.
meloveindia Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 excellent innings btw which channel in India telecasting this series? anyone?
ZodiaC Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 excellent innings btw which channel in India telecasting this series? anyone? Ten cricket
jf1gp_1 Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 didnt watch the game but looking at the scorecard it appears to be a great comeback from razzaq, Pak ODI team isnt doing that badly they do win games every series. Greatests innings ever ?? yes if VVS/ishant innings against Aus are one of the greatest test innings ever then sure so is this one.
DomainK Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Truely stunning. I was really shocked when I saw the scorecard in the morning. This is sensational stuff. What an innings!!
achilles Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 One of the best ODI inngs I have ever seen. Phenomenal stuff. Congratulations Pakistan. Your boy made you proud when the going was tough.

gaurav92 Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Actually its getting compared with Sachin' date='s 200 there is no way these [b']mazzak,s innings come close to sach,s innings best innings sachin 200 from ball one go and hitting steyn kallis. No name calling on threads mate. :icflove:
Sachinism Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Looking at the match situation and how he single-handedly won the game, this innings has gotta be up there. Being Razzaq its gonna be a clear the front foot and have a mighty swing kinda knock, but that's how he bats

Cricket_Guru Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Bhai did u c the third ball of last over Razzaq was out plumb lbw but Aleem dar gave not out so that Pakistan can win the match talking about biased umpires pak top the list . plumb? and talking about umpiring decision, younis was playing so good, he edged it on to pads, and umpire raised his finger.........he smiled off :--D ingram got about 5 edges, yet scored century, so its all about making most of your chances.....:two_thumbs_up:
spectre Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Best innings or not, What it shows is, any team has to be very careful till they get this man out, whatever be the asking RRR, he can single handedly pull off miracles. I have seen his brutal hitting power many times before, so this isnt a suprise for me As many said, he is a very underrated cricketer, partly his fault as well, as he is known to run hot and cold most times. He is not consistent but brutal. A very talented cricketer really
