Those are 2 separate things, in one case the ICC cleared him of any wrong doing and in another case they have suspended him. How do they equate to each other?

Mamu Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 British reaction to Haider seeking asylum. I thought it was funny and so true ! Of course he's here. Where else would he go? God forbid his own country. Just to reinforce the message to anyone on the planet who received a death threat. Come to the land of milk and honey. No matter how wealthy or poor you are. We'll take you, doesn't matter about the people already suffering here. Come one Come all. We especially want more violent people to stab politicians and teenagers. Bomb makers to kill innocent commuters and the more hook handed terrorists we can get the better. God how I wish I had the money to leave
nballa Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 looks like he is on his way to becoming a specimen the whole world loathes. an entity whose stupidity is only matched by one of its own kind. - a british paki.

Ram Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 What visa is that guy traveling on? How could he just catch a flight to the UK, especially when he has announced before hand that he’s clearly fleeing from someone/something? Have the immigration authorities there let him into the country?
Gunner_Mania Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 As a sports player who recently visited UK, he probably has a long term VISA that still hasnt expired :dontknow:
Ram Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 As a sports player who recently visited UK' date=' he probably has a long term VISA that still hasnt expired :dontknow:[/quote'] Yea, but shouldn’t you technically be traveling on the stated intent of the visa, for you to be let in? How can he claim he’s there on a sport(?) visa, when its pretty clear he isn’t coming to play any sports? Boy this is all so messed up. The guy plays a winning hand for his country, claims he received threats to himself and his family and runs away without supposedly even informing his team. The PCB press release says the passports of the players are generally with the team management, but Haider had ‘asked for it and they had given it to them..’ How believable is that? Didn’t they suspect of anything when he asked for his passport? Either there’s something sinister going on behind the scenes or this guy is just plain loony.
