As I called' date=' Ishant is much better with the old ball. Final tally 4-2 to Ishant sharma :hatsoff:[/quote'] Well, It is always a no contest for me. Ishant > Sresanth. Having seen both of them live, I can say that Ishant is faster and bouncier. He has got better control and better attitude than sree. Can bowl longer spells than sree. Sresanth is great when the ball swings, shown by his MoM performances against SA and Lanka in Johanasberg and Kanpur respectively, but if it doesnt swing he is very ordinary. He is getting good at reverse swing these days, so that is another of his strength.

Wasn't Sree denied a wicket against McCullum?
Yes Sree got BMac. (Donny mode: In the radio it was said Sree did not get him - Where is Donny these days? Anyone know?) So - kinda even steven IS and SS

Except that for Sree its his 3rd match of the series and for Ishant his first since comeback,. So Ishant >> Sree

the basic difference in Ishant of last ten tests and this test match is it looks like he got that incutter back , that is his best delivery ,all he needs now is get odd one straighten then he will be fine. He took wickets in mohali but he was not consistent like he was in this match.

He bowled well only in the second day in this test. He wasn't even making the batsmen play too many times on the first day..was bowling too far outside off or short and wide. He is no where close to what he should be before one can use the term 'consistent'

He bowls a very predictable line' date=' uses his height wisely. To the boy's credit, he does a very good job at it.[/quote'] Considering the way our spin bowlers have performed lately and the tracks we have, soon we might go with Zaheer Sree and Ishant and one spinner even in India

I think we might as well produce pace-friendly wickets in India, given the advantage Zak, Sree & Ishant, along with RP, Irfan & PK give to us. It might actually do our bowlers a world of good and reduce our excessive dependence on spinners. We were all jumping up and down looking at how- 1. Zak, Sree & RP bowled in England. 2. Sree bowled in SA. 3. Ishant in Aus.

Sree was rubbish in England..only ZAK and RP bowled well..

It was pretty funny watching Sree bowl today. He bowled two good overs and all of a sudden started mouthing off to Taylor and acting as if he was a dominating bowler. The next Sree over Taylor pretty much took him on, shut him up by hitting a couple of boundaries and Sree started bowling a bit more short rather than the fuller deliveries that were moving off the pitch. Dhoni took him off after that over. So much for Sree bowling at least one good long spell.

Sreesanth literally set this match for us, with his 2 wicket burst on the morning of day 1. Yet, all we get to hear from people is scorelines like as this is some sort of best 7 series.
