Sid Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 INS Virat will bomb you to infinity in that case. :cantstop:
Old guy Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 yeah I have been watching him Ranjis for last 2-3 years n he always did well.bats well too.hopefully now is a regular in our LOI squad he should work on his death bowling ...he is young and has time..can be good limited over cricketer for us in long run
Lord Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 he should work on his death bowling ...he is young and has time..can be good limited over cricketer for us in long run our death bowling is crap.we need specialists for that.maybe Awana can be turned into one.no hopE from BK
JaFanatic Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 our death bowling is crap.we need specialists for that.maybe Awana can be turned into one.no hopE from BK dinda can be better than awana and current lot
Lord Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 dinda can be better than awana and current lot I dont mean death bowling in that sense lol
msb1991 Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 another average bowler made to look good today' date=' what will he do if there's no swing on offer considering he has no pace.[/quote'] What do you mean by 'made to look good'? Who made him look good? And why? Moreover, why are you criticising a bowler who does well when there is swing on offer. We have bowlers who bowl rubbish when there is swing on offer!
cybervickey Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I think he is our Mo. Asif . Whata talent. Awseome thinking bowler. About time we had a genuine treating bowler besides zak.
mastana Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I think he is our Mo. Asif . Whata talent. Awseome thinking bowler. About time we had a genuine treating bowler besides zak. Bhai control karo. Kahan asif tak pahuch gaye. Seedha sadha ladka hai kahan drugs ke chakkar mein parwaa rahe ho. Woh toh drugs leke swing karata tha kyunki usko stumps kahin aur nazar aati thi. :cantstop:

cybervickey Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 asif is the benchmark because he was new . He had that deadly accurate bowling and he was a thinking bowler who liked to set batsmen up .This kid has done all of that .Also , the in dippers are pretty similar too. edit : this kid is the only positive that i take from this game. In fact I ain't even mad that we lost this game because i think we have found a genuine threatening fast bowler.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 this guy can bowl' date=' good control..always pitching the ball at the same place and getting that movement too...pace wouldn't be a factor if he can continuously bowl like this (ala mohammed asif)[/quote'] no asif could make it go both ways off the seam. a bowler like that can do well almost anywhere this kumar guy looked to be more swing dependent. he was pitching it up and the early movement threw the batsmen off. that kind of bowling looks nice when conditions suit. can he move it off the seam?

cybervickey Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 but its just one match! how can u tell he is accurate by one match ? Gut feeling TBH . I feel that sometimes you can tell if a bowler is gonna be good by watching them play only a single game .
Old guy Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Gut feeling TBH . I feel that sometimes you can tell if a bowler is gonna be good by watching them play only a single game . never do that...u can tell weather he is crap or not but things like control i dont htink u can judge that by jsut 4 overs
panther Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Lol asif was 6 foot 4 he could extract good bounce along with seam movement, this guy is like 5 10 and is bowling 125-130 even asif on his odi debut was bowling 135-140 but slowed down as his control improved and btw asif was a mediocre odi bowler. But with 2 new balls he may have been a vital asset in odi, but we will never know.

panther Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 u really do love asif dont u ?:giggle: was he better then mcgrath? tell me honestly :P He was the Pakistani mcgrath. we can produce 10 wasims but we will never produce another asif. I advise you to watch some of asif test spells, despite being a fixer within a team of fixers and all those dropped catches he averaged under 25 with a sr of under 50.
