CSK Fan Posted November 10, 2012 Author Posted November 10, 2012 Chennai wickets wont spin anymore According to new directives issued by the Chief Minister Jayalaliatha, curators are hence-forth forbidden to make spinning wickets in Chennai. The move is seen as a further initative by the Tamil Nadu goverment to protest against Sri Lanka. After all, spinning wickets are a hall-mark of Sri-Lanka and by not providing spinning wickets, Tamil Nadu is registering their protest against the Island nation and their treatment of tamils. Any bowl spinnig more than 5 degrees will be considered illegal As a follow up, Dhoni, Jadeja and Ashwin have been immedately released by CSK and are avilable in the next election pool. Rumours are ripe that CSK might sign Atul Sharma, provided they find him first Sachin might retire - sometimes in the indefnite future Sachin Tendulkar today called one more press conference to delcare that he might retire. Or he might not. He stated that he is still enjoying his cricket so cannot make any comments on a retirement date. When the 101 reporters present asked him the reason to call a press conference then, Sachin simply stated, "it was to discuss my retirement". When a stubborn press reported asked Sachin whether it was not upto the selectors to decide his future, Sachin replied, "Well depends if I am truly enjoying cricket. I enjoyed the Wimbledon and all the foreign holidays last year. But I am still enjoying my cricket. So I might retire. then again I might not. You can attend my press conference next week for more details" Meanwhile, the correspondent just came to know that the starving beggar outiside the gate of the building where the press conference was held was none other than Pujara who had decided to find an alternate way of earning a livelihood while waiting for a place in the Indian team. India Pak series, Bookies swing into action Prominent bookies today toured different stadiums in India in order to approve the venues of the series. According to reports, they were not very happy with the arrangements. Here are the observations made by the panel annoated by the bookie association of India and the actions suggested 1) In a couple of stadiums, the walk from the dressing room to the pitch was too short, leaving no time for the bookies to hiss last moment instructiions to the players on the way to the pitch. Proposed solution - BCCI to create artificial tunnels allowing the bookies enough time to interact with the batsmen in relative privacy 2) Stadiums on the out-skirts have poor mobile network connections BCCI is working with vodafone to build towers right next to each stadium for the series. Wherever the batsman goes, the sms follows! 3) 5000 visas not enough A further complaint was that the 5000 visas were exhausted by members of the LET, the Taliban and the Indian Mujahideen leaving no visas for Pakistani bookies Proposed solution - BCCI has assured that they will arrange for 200 private visas for bookies. 4) Hotels too far away from where the players are staying BCCI regrets this state of affairs but states that due to the holiday rush, this is the best possible arrangement they can provide. However, players hotel rooms will have visiting hours and BCCI will make sure that CCTVs are disabled at those times The bookie association registered its displeasure at these measures not already being in place so close to such an important series.

I saw you in the hot, hot grounds of Chennai. You were standing there not sure where to look and wishing the ground would open up and swallow you. You glanced at the crowd, trying to avoid your captain and there I was. I was the fat babe in row 65. Our eyes met and you decided I am less scary than your captain. People say you didnt take a single wicket in the test but you sure bowled me over. I believe we have lots in common. I too was considered pretty much useless in my drama class, yet got selected again and again because of my leader's sympathy. I am short and wide and you love short and wide. A match made in heaven. I believe you will have lots of free time while the next 2 tests are being played. Please call me, if you are that guy. i distinctly remember the horse like face -it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests PostingID: 13952 The curly haired cherub at Group -m4m- 52 CL>Chennai>Missed Connections I was hit by a thunderbolt when I first caught sight of you. Unfortunately you were already taken. It was also a match made in heaven as both your captain, and you, could not keep your eyes of each other. I have to admit I felt a lot jealous But dont you think he might be neglecting you a bit? I distincly noticed him giving special preference to the young, strapping turbanned guy who was not even as useful as you. I would be careful, if I were you. Also beware of that tall guy, have you ever wondered why he was in the team? Duh Someone as pretty as you should not be taken for granted. Your curls, your rosy cheeks, people will die for (I already am). I know that the chemistry you have with your leader is life long, and I would never want to be a home-wrecker. But if you ever feel like a fling, please feel free to contact me. Thanks PostingID: 12351 The strapping young Punjabi at Group -w4m- 18 CL>Hyderabad>Missed Connections Hi, throughout the match, I saw you patrolling the boundaries and I somewhat felt, it was because of me. Why else would you not ask the captain to give you more overs? As other bowlers were into their 15th over of the day, you were sulking on the boundry, and playing angry birds on your ipod. Was it so that you could be closer to me? As you undoubtly know, I was the girl in the red dress. You pretended to be bored and dis-interested, but I could make out that you were checking me out. Wanna catch up for a game of darts over the weekend. Darts is a favorite of mine, and I dunno why, but I have a feeling you will be quite good at it too. I am the one in the cool sunglasses If you need an introduction, I am the one with the most advertisements on TV (after Dhoni) . What do you say to that? In between I also try to play some cricket.
