Detonator Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 @ stuge dood, I need ur help There is a carrot, radish and turnip farm. During feb and march every year, there will be both snow and sunlight. At night, the a thin layer of snow covers the leaves of all plants around the farm like this, before sunlight. During sunrise, the snow layer starts to melt and turn into dew drops in the leaves. For nearly 15 to 20 mins, the dew drops will sparkle all over the land. Just imagine a 5 acre green blanket studded with 100s of sparkling diamonds. The problem is I cannot capture this in a camera. I have a canon 60D and a EF 75-300mm lens. I tried in every angle all around the land but I get only these boring normal pictures like these. Just imagine this entire land covered with sparking dew drops. Can you please give me some tips on how to capture this? Any recommendation on camera/lens? Please help me dood

You need to learn a lot' date=' you are capturing your shadow too :headshake:[/quote'] No dood, I can see the sparkles only on that position. :(( Also there is a place on hill above the land exactly where the sunrises. If I stand there in the morning, I can see a godzilla size shadow all over our farm.

EnterTheVoid Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 nice pictures.....good work mate. I am learning photography...any suggestions for newbies ? For travelling, get a go pro. If you want to shoot close up shots of grass, trees and flowers, get a DSLR and a high end lens kit. :hysterical:
