Parthiv patel should be played as a reg batsman like DK did few times Parthiv is an awesome batsmen and deserves more chances

Without a doubt PP and DK overall are batsman who are better than someone like a Kaif IMO and 'his uselessness' gets to play 125 ODI's. Go figure. Wish someday PP gets his chances and the good thing is age is on his side.

There is no place for Uthappa as the middle order is packed. Rahane and Pujara are better. Irfan Pathan misssed early part of Ranji trophy and so was not considered for selection.

The should seriously consider Irfan pathan. If he clicks and comes into some form then he can win matches as 3rd or 4th seamer. Case in point T20 final 2007 and perth test along with other onedayers.He will be 2000% better thanthe rubbish Ravindra Jadeja.

As a bowler Irfan is cannon-fodder in the subcontinent.. Sir Jadeja edges him out in that aspect

Was waiting for that, such a complete lack of knowledge by our fans is really scary. He is injured for some time and is not the same IP as he was maybe 2-3 back. So needs to prove himself domestically.

This is the 30 anyway - dont think IKP (even if he was in 30) or Pujara/Rahane gonna make it to the final 15.

Think the core of the 15-man squad pretty much picks itself. Debates over the backup wicketkeeper (probably Karthik) and choosing between Ojha and Ashwin? The probable backup seamer's slot is a bit of a lottery too I suppose...whoever happens to be bowling least terribly at the time

Ashwin will most probably be in the 15. He bowled very well in the New Zealand series.
