Nah, its not over that easily. Those 192 runs are going to seem like 300 more to get tomorrow and that sort of pressure getz! :--D

the odds are stacked against south africa. here is why: 1. SA have never chased 300 for a win on their home soil. 2. South african tailenders have scored 11 runs in their 1st innings. india scored 21 and 31 in their two innings. So tailenders are absolutely worthless in these conditions. it's a battle of top 6 vs top 6, and india have taken 3 of them out already. 3. there was overnight rain in durban. clear skies forecast for this morning, but overnight rain means sweating under the covers. these conditions will help the indian bowlers in the 1st two sessions and will ensure that the pitch doesn't ease out. advantage india 4. SA, and especially de villiers and prince, are crap at playing spin. harbhajan is getting a fair bit of bounce and some turn. advantage india 5. india are gonna be pumped up to level the series, knowing all of the above. 6. SA have a propensity to collapse under pressure. india will wrap this up by tea, or at the most, by stumps - assuming no rain or light delay. 50-70 run win.

Why? If its Day-5 pitch with cracks in India, maybe SA will feel pressure. This is their home conditions and they will feel good about the chase with fluent Kallis (unlucky runout in 1st Inn) and ABDV in good form (despite their 1st inn debacle).

Its a hell of a lot of runs to get and it ain't going to be as easy as you think and certainly not on that pitch.

I thought they have chased 340 successfully against Australia in the same ground :nervous:

Sreeshanth needs to be pumped up...he bowled a good spell last evening and if he bowls like that he will be a big threat for them...why doesn't he bowl like that always? He is as good as any bowler in the world when he bowls like that. Zaheer is there too. He will be probing and will bowl at a good line and length...Bhajji will also get bounce, and I hope Ishant supports them if not take wicket, just don't give easy runs with no balls and short and wide..otherwise he will have to sit out for the next game..
