Normally I don't do these kind of threads but I want this team to win in this literally titanic struggle in Newlands. I am not sure whether the pitch has changed much in character but it should be a good batting track with assistance for spinners. We are likely to win the toss this time around and hopefully we are going to pile on a huge score. All we need is one explosive innings from Viru and believe me he is due one. We are going to win!

I am not sure about Spin, But surely apart from the first Hour or two it favours the batsman mostly. Not sure we'll win the toss or not. We need to sort out Ishant sharma.

It is ok to support your team :winky:

Am supporting the team as Much as You do.:winky: But not confident about Ishant, still i would play him as we have no better option. And nothing wrong in Pointing that out. Is it?

BTW Capetown was where SRT hit that majestic 169. He loves batting here, has hit a 50 in each of the 3 tests he has played here. 73, 169, 9, 64 and 14 are his scores. Another 100 from the master is on its way at Capetown.

If the pitch is anything like they had there in our last tour,then I definately see India winning,though India messed it up last time

No, not at all. But the way some people were going at Instant in the match thread prompted my response. I'm not asking to sweep things under the rug, just don't lash the rug and dance in the damn dust :dontknow:

The last time we played here we squandered a 150 run Opening stand between Karthik and Jaffer. Boy oh Boy i wish we get even half of that in the next match. We were bundled out for 414 after being 200-1. Despite that we managed a slim lead, But that too went in vain we were bundled out for 169 in the 2nd innings on a Surface that was Flat as Pan Cake. I just wish we bury the ghost of 2006 over here.

We definitely have the upper hand going into the 3rd test. They know that, all things equal, we’re more than a match for them. We know that all things being unequal, we can still overcome them.
