England is a land of freedom and prosperity and you are all welcome to come and live in Southall or Luton or some place like that. Dont take advantage of our multi culturalism and then complain when we have multi cultural sports teams you hypocritical *EDITED*.
Luton is full of pakis, get your steotypical racism right. Yes southall is full of indians although taken over by *EDITED* somalians, so 90% correct in this sterotype. Still miles better then living in horrible Tooting and Brixton

Well done for seeing the difference between multi culturalism and multi nationalism. Real subtlety there.

He makes some very valid points and plays down the ashes win? What is your problem?
Ya valid point like we cannot win against top teams unless they lose players through retirement :winky:

On topic: The England, Wales, etc team is in top form now no doubt but things can go downhill very quickly. One injury, one batsman out of form and one Collingwood and the team can look very different.

Well the truth is the majority of this forum do not live in India yet still find time to have a go at england for having people born in other lands in the team. Sterotypical racism, its truth, there are plenty of indians in luton and southall . I dont cry about you all calling pakis in the UK taxi drivers and benefit scroungers because its pretty true.

These ex England players like Gough and Vaughan are getting on my nerves man first it was whingakara then smith now these both aloofs.
Its okay. Our ex players will compete with them. Each players would like to talk up their team. In a way it will spice up the contest between INdia and England next time. Remember. Dhoni follows all cricket news regularly unlike some cricketers who completely avoids cricket news.

Its funny that this topic has come up now coz, I clearly remember, in 2007/08, when we toured Aussie land for the BG trophy, one of things that ex-Aussie cricketers/media kept pointing out was how our batting stars were past their prime. Ironically, our dominance and subsequent ascent to the no.1 spot pretty much started right after that series! The English are making too much of their win over an Aussie team consisting of either over-the-hill or out-of-form players. If they really want to keep feeling good about themselves, maybe they should organize test tours to Zimbabwe and Afghanisthan.. Then, the victory margins will be even better and they can feel even happier.

We have seen in this series that when Stuart Broad missed out Chris Tremlett came in and performed. The same for Steven Finn and Tim Bresnan.
Jimmy is awesome, but...the feck? Tremlett, Bresnan (all of 5 tests old) are the depth that Vaughan is talking about? Broadie has an average of 35. Onions is injured. Whatever happened to the second coming of Christ predicted with Simon Jones, Hoggard, Harmison and Flintoff? Sidebottom much? Take away Steyn and Morkel, and South Africa are average. No Duh. Take away Anderson and Swann, and I don't think any number of Finns will make that dead fish swim.

What are you on about? Trott is from Birmingham, have you listened to him? 100% brummie. Morgan is from Middlesex obviously. And have you seen KP's tattoo? Also he's married to an Englsih woman. Any questions now? And Craig Kieswetter drives a Jag. That makes him English. So does Michael Lumb. Also you're just jealous, you werent on about this when England were doing badly with Robin Smith, Tony Greig and the rest of them. Of course, you werent even born back then but thats your fault. And look, England is being this kind and giving people the opportunity to play top cricket. How can you be against that? If only the nasty Bangla basterds thought the same way, people like Nohit and Badri can actually realize their childhood dreams.
