My patience with Rohit Sharma is up

Tsotsobe didn't say a word to Rohit. He celebrated wildly. Think we are making too much of that. Its like Zak yelling loudly after taking a wicket.
Do you recall ishant getting a fine for a much milder sendoff to symonds?? I am just talking of Icc match referees double standards. Not all at saying tht tsotsobe should have been fined.

SA complaint was fine' date=' but it was wrong on indian captains part not to get behind sresanth in the media.[/quote'] Yes. In Rohit case, it was good he did not make a fuss about it. But our maturity shouldn't be taken as a sign of weakness. Thats all.

SI bro, vaibhav has quoted the same example I was thinking about when I made my previous post.

I never liked Rohit Sharma but I feel that finally he is showing some eagerness to perform and be part of team India and not be content in just being a IPL player. However, he has been having a disappointing series.

Never ever ever write of a young player with ability. He is 23 for gods sake and posters are saying RIP Sharma!! He has scored loads of runs in domestic cricket. Yes not had good tour but these are very very challenging bolwers in challenging conditions. Do not dissmiss such youth so quickly. Loads of you guys were slamming Gambhir after his first initial stint in internationbal cricket and he rammed the rip judgements down peoples throats(I backed his recall immensley), same for Rohit. I back him to come back and prove all these RIP calls wrong. p.s he looks slim to me! So working hard as show by zillions of runs in domestic cricket

Yea, I dont understand selectors choosing him in ODI cricket when hes scoring runs in domestic cricket??? Testing him in Tests is much more a better indication of his talent then ODI cricket where he floating in the batting order plus doesnt have skill to pace his innings hence his brain farts. Rohit :sniffle: Sucks to be him atm. :((

So glad he is not part of the WC squad. Does not deserve it. He needs to look no further than what Kohli has achieved. RS body language looks like he is not serious about performing for India.

he is first in line if anybody gets injured,i dont see anybody else being considered.

And assess from there. If he fails, too bad. Drop him. Otherwise if he somehow manages to score runs, then slowly maybe reintroduce back to ODI's. I dont understand how Pujara makes the Test team on his domestic performances, while Rohit is pushed in to the ODI team based on his domestic performances? Same standard but are picked to play different formats?

He can't do much worse than RS. I would rather have IKP (when fully fit), would give us bowling options + is not too bad with the willow.

I'm so happy to see this thread..:yay: I've no doubts that Rohit will start justifying his talent at International level from next season onwards! http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=182025&highlight=PATHAN http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=144664&highlight=signature http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=218129 :--D
