falconhawk Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I think Yusuf Pathan is destructive but not in Sehwag's league. Sehwag does more damage. He times the ball better. For me, Sehwag anyday.
urbestfriend Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Sehwag is proven talent , Yusuf is hit or miss player. Both are good timers of the ball and Yusuf is better power hitter, but he has a long way to go before he is compared in the league of Sehwag.
don_corleone840 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Sehwag is one the greatest opener of all time and considered as most destructive batsman ever born in history of cricket and u are comparing to mindless slogger like pathan .What an insult:hitler::hitler:
b555 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 2 match khel liya yusuf aur usko sehwag se compare karne lag gaye :reddy:
Bublu Bhuyan Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Sehwag is one the greatest opener of all time and considered as most destructive batsman ever born in history of cricket and u are comparing to mindless slogger like pathan .What an insult:hitler::hitler: Hold on. That tag has and will forever belong to the great Sir Issac Vivian Alexander Richards.
vvvslaxman Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Define destruction. Only area where Yusuf could out do VIru is putting together two or three gigantic overs in quick succession.
Hindustani Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Sehwag by miles, Yousuf is an excellent hitter and we can compare him with people like Pollard, Sehwag is in different league altogether.
daryl1985 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Sehwag is by far the more talented player and can take apart any attack on his day but if we need to score 25 off the last 2 overs i would maybe rather have Yusuf Pathan because he can clear any boundary.
flamy Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Ya, but if we needed 25 off 1 over, I'd go with Sehwag.
Raghav_12 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 You don't compare Sehwag with anybody like that. Sehwag is an all time great and contender of opening slot in all time XI.
pensionplan Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 You don't compare Sehwag with anybody like that. Sehwag is an all time great and contender of opening slot in all time XI.An all time great whose Test 2nd innings average hovers around 30 at that. Sure can't compare Sehwag with everybody just like that.
The Outsider Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 An all time great whose Test 2nd innings average hovers around 30 at that. Sure can't compare Sehwag with everybody just like that. At least he did not go crying to a psychologist after facing some phaaassht bowling. BTW, he averages 17.43454659 when he is playing on bouncy tracks which offer reverse and inverse swing, and the sun is at an angle of 38.546565 degrees from the zenith, and there is a lunar eclipse scheduled for that night. All time great? Baah!
Sir_Afridi Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Sehwag is a four hitter while Yousuf is a better six hitter so my vote goes to pathan.
