vvvslaxman Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 If the Aussies are such a good team and India reach the finals then we will have to face them in the finals anyway :dontknow: so why be afraid of facing them in the QFs?? We are still "gaining confidence" :cantstop: Our process is not complete yet.
nitinbwj Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Also India did it in Bangalore in the warm up game. They were clueless against the most clueless bowler we have :cantstop: :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Aussies.....:finger:
Sid Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Main worry for our side is we still dont know our 1st 11 :nervous:
Sachin=GOD Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Main worry for our side is we still dont know our 1st 11 :nervous: :agree: :nervous:
vvvslaxman Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Main worry for our side is we still dont know our 1st 11 :nervous: That is where i am worried about. India had ample opportunity to get it right. But we were too wound up with boosting confidence of chaiwala :wall:

satyam1729 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 In T20 WC 2007, Pakistan defeated OZ and then India defeated them in semi-final. Same is the case this time.
Sid Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 In T20 WC 2007' date=' Pakistan defeated OZ and then India defeated them in semi-final. Same is the case this time.[/quote'] Satyam u are a legend, always come up with these facts :two_thumbs_up:
Bumper Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Well, where angels tread, fools dare. Underestimate the Aussies at your own peril. When it comes to big games, I'd fear Aussies more than the other teams. The only reason to feel a bit optimistic against them is their current form. Because of self-doubts & the importance of the game, they may be a bit circumspect, which may work in favor of us.
cowboysfan Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Ahmedabad pitch is spin friendly. since when ? we have lost the last 3 matches we have played over there.
b555 Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 since when ? we have lost the last 3 matches we have played over there. :--D
satyam1729 Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 since when ? we have lost the last 3 matches we have played over there. Pitch has changed. In OZ vs Zim it was turning.
The Outsider Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 since when ? we have lost the last 3 matches we have played over there. In both the first round matches it was playing quite slow. Not much turn, but sluggish. Would hate to play Sri Lanka on that kind of track - they thrive on those pitches. Against Australia it could work to our advantage.
zen Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 If WI smashes our spinners on a spin friendly pitch at Chennai and creates further doubts in many fans mind, it would send the cat amongst many Ind pigeons. The omg threads would pop up. Play SL or Aus, spinners not effective even on spin friendly surfaces. What to do? :hysterical:

All i need is one customary world cup win against Pakistan :icflove: .
Switchblade Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 @rett u are right sir thats why little :nervous:

Switchblade Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 I think facing Pak is possible at semis if i remember correctly in t20 2k7 after our loss to kiwis we were in a must win situation and it was Yuvis innings against Poms that gave us the momentum we need that kind of momentum and of course a win
Switchblade Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 @ghost and if they dont then u can go back to hell frm where ghost comes from
Ultimate_Game Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Let's beat Windies tomorrow and ask the Ahmedabad curator to make the pitch as spin friendly as possible. Aussies can't play spin at all - even Chawla got their number :hysterical:
