But if Langer turns out to be our coach or mentor as they would call it these days. How awkward would it be for him to go upto to Sachin and offer him adivce, someone elder to him in both age and experience.

Donald knows destructive pace and disciplined length but he doesnt have as much in his arsenal as Akram does. I agree with you....and I understand that politics and religion should not affect cricket...sadly in our country it does and it would. I am sure a Pakistani or an Austalian coach will never ever work for India.

I am sure a Pakistani or an Austalian coach will never ever work for India. wasnt there some news when irfan was new that he'd get tips from akram and learn from him etc? that was a good phase for irfan as a bowler. i think akram has a lot to offer to indian bowlers, donald relied more on pace, with akram it was more about swing and seam if i am not wrong, just like how indian bowlers are...all about "line and length"

Besides the hatred he will gain from his country, he will be equally abhored here in case things don't go as per the plan. The Ishant/RP/Nehra syndrome will all be Akram's fault.

After a bright start to his coaching career, Moody has been very poor in recent times. He was so bad that he'd to relinquish his job at WACA. Greg Shipperd/Dermot Reeve are my choices. Both like keeping to themselves and they are good man managers.

PCB should be begging him to coach pakistani bowlers...wonder why Waqar ahead of Akram. akram seems to be more money hungry, seems like commentating or doing tv shows pays more than being a paki coach also, since when did bcci start caring what pakis think of it? or for that matter since when did we start caring for the approval of pakis for our actions? surely he cant do worse than what venky or simmons are doing, i am sure he can guide the upcoming guys like chahar et al better than simmons or even zak no need to make him the head coach, he cant teach us how to field or bat or make match stratergies, but surely he can be of immense help to the fast bowlers, or "non-spin" bowlers as i should say
