ganeshran Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 The only one who will be happy about this match will be Watto87. Sala jeetne wali side ko support karega :hitler: :hitler:
Manny_Pacquiao Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Dream on bud. It will be other way around. My privates are telling me!!! your privates are too small to be a factor in this discussion. :fishing:
satishg Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 I am with KT on this. We will win this one easily and for once i feel comfortable playing against Australia in a WC knockout game. This time a SRT century will for sure end up on a winning note! :two_thumbs_up:
yoda Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 We need Tait and Johnson to bowl garbage like they did against Pak and find a way to see off Lee without much damage. If those three fire in Tandem, it could be a looong day/evening for us.
cybervickey Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 IND V AUS: win toss field first ! Some of you may not agree but there is the logic behind it.Our batting in probably the strongest of all the teams playing.I mean No other team can even touch our batting capabilities. Its our bowling thats a concern. When we bat first no matter how many runs we score we never know if they will be enough against teams like AUS .I say bowl first get a target.Once our Batsmen have a target in mind they can pace their innings accordingly. And thats how you win against the Aussies.

Nope Azza did mistake fielding first in 96 semis Dada did same in 2003 final for a change if u do win the toss bat first and get total around 280.
Ranvir Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Maybe batting second is better, I can imagine someone like Watson or Hussey going after the Indian bowlers, even Ponting might hit some form, but then again we have Harbhajan to get him.
vvvslaxman Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Maybe batting second is better' date=' I can imagine someone like Watson or Hussey going after the Indian bowlers, even Ponting might hit some form, but then again we have Harbhajan to get him.[/quote'] They will do the same in the first innings also minus the pressure factor. They are more dangerous when they bat first.
vvvslaxman Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 1983 world cup final.. they were racing away and they collapsed. In 1996 world cup Pakistan was racing away to 115 without a wicket then the collapse. No matter how frenetic they start you can always come back when you field.
vvvslaxman Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Only if dew is suppose to be a factor :winky: On true pitches like Australia it doesn't matter. But the pitch will get slower in the evening. inspite of dew factor stroke making will not be easy against slow bowlers.
cybervickey Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 i am not talking about previous Wc's here.I am basing this solely on Indias performance in this WC.What i've seen so far of india I am pretty confident that we will be able to chase down any total .YES! even something 320+ .Right now the dilemma we are facing is that we don't know how many runs would be enough for our lolly-pop bowling bowling to defend. If we bowl first we'll have the advantage of having a target in mind. Also with the Due factor any team bowling second will have problems, our bowling maybe more than Australa's .Tbh i think if AUS wins the toss they will probably bat first which would be a blessing in disguise for us.
