Agree. It is Tendulkar's worst ever decision. Playing meaningless exhibition matches makes no sense. I could understand him playing for the first three years since the board wanted the big names to kick-start the tournament but he shouldn't have extended his contract.

You guys still don't get it do you? IPL is not a meaningless comedy. It is the premier pro league in world cricket. The fact that a guy like Tendulkar has agreed to another 2 years (or is it 3?) to play there itself should tell you that it is anything but a Tamasha tournament.

4 years is more than sufficient time for form to start wearing down a little. The reflexes will start taking a hit at some point hereon(he can train as hard as he wants, but nature will take its toll).. why wait for the inevitable and gamble on a spotless career ? Leave on a high little master B->

Exactly my point. I agree with you. He should retire on a high tomorrow. He would however have the 50th ODI 100 milestone somewhere in his mind.
