rajmarie Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 with Sree there are far more chances of 71/0 rather than 71/2 or 52/0. Very true :hysterical::hysterical:
Lord Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Sreesanth was also likely to play semis, n some guys were happy about it if its true thats pathetic.I dont think Nehra's injury is that serious to miss a WC final .to me its an excuse to drop him.I would still have swallowed that if Ashwin played but Sree?c'mon.u cant play most expensive n idiotic bowler in the world in WC finals.lets not be like pakis to harp over talunt n forget everything else if Sree plays no need to watch, its all over.I;m hoping its a lame attempt at April Fool's Joke
cowboysfan Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Dhoni's reasons are valid. There is an excellent chance that one of our seamers(or both )can have an awful day and cannot complete his quota.Sreesanth should not be judged on that one match against bangladesh as he has been bowling well before that match. The pitch might also help the seamers and there might be swing early on in both innings as well as reverse swing.I still think its 50/50 between Ashwin and Sree and they should decide on the afternoon before the match depending on the conditions(hopefully Dhoni will read the pitch correctly this time).
jonas10 Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 If they are going for a 2 2 combination and swing will be a factor why not drop Munaf for Sree?
WC2011INDIA Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I am hearing the pitch will support spinners and pace bowlers who can reverse swing.
vvvslaxman Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 santhakumaran has some random twitter messages :cantstop:
jusarrived Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Sree is a risk , if it dosent work it might cost us a game .
Karan114 Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Sree is a risk ' date=' if it dosent work it might cost us a game .[/quote'] That's my worry too.
LAVAN Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 A couple of days ago people wished for an injury to nehra and now he’s a strike bowler. Today people wishing for an injury to Sreesanth, so he won’t play.
Cricket Tragic Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Should have played him in the league stages atleast. He hasn't played since the first game. What happened to the logic of giving everyone in the team a good run so that they are all ready to play at any stage? Still think he will pick Ashwin.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 these are just mind games to keep the sri lankans guessing. no way is dhoni gonna throw sreesanth into the team for a world cup final. the guy hasnt played a game since the opener, and all of a sudden he is being given the responsibility to deliver in the most important match the team will ever play? riiiiiiiiight. and its not like dhoni has any faith in him. if sri lanka's group stage match against NZ and curator's comments are anything to go by, its gonna be a slow turner with some help for seamers at the beginning. ashwin will definitely play.
Midfielder Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 SSant is much better option than Ashwin in these conditions. He should definitely play.

CG Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Sree is a risk ' date=' if it dosent work it might cost us a game .[/quote'] its not that munaf or ashwin are not risks ,munaf was hit out of attack by australia, southafrica.anybody can have a bad day but what matters is what can eh do if it is a good day.

The probability thay sreesanth will fail is bigger than the others.
