Kohli is the first one to get the opportunity, or should be be the first one. Another failure from Pujara here, and he should be replaced by Kohli and not anyone else
comeon , u of all shouldnt be talking about pujara like this he surely has the capacity thats comparable to laxman and dravid out there!!

Upto Yuvi really. Continue the good form in IPL and then in the WI ODIs. Force the selectors to pick him for the test team for WI. Will not be a bad choice on the slow wickets of WI.
Against WI he might come good as they don't really have great spinners or swing bowlers.

arey bhai. I am saying another failure. I am all for him getting chance. But another failure means, another failure on tour. I don't mind him touring West Indies. Am I asking too much? One full tour of south africa, and now one full tour of West Indies. Isn't that enough. I never meant one game or an inning. I would like him to play in the whole series of Windies.

Yuvraj in form going into the England tour would make our test team much more stronger. If he shows the same sense of responsibility that he has shwon in this WC, success is not beyond him. His past failures have been primairly due to temprament and not due to a lack of ability. As Gavaskar said the other day, someone should help Yuvraj set the next goal for himself which is to score at least 3-4 test 100s every year from now on till the time he plays for the next 5-6 years.

its lack of technique,he likes to play with ball coming on the bat,no or little swing,no slips. its not the first time we've seen Yuvraj in form in ODIs.hes done it before.at the same time hes struggled in Tests.no point commiting the same mistake wen we dont have to

Yup definately Yuvraj should get the test spot. I think he is a new born Yuvi with a lot of determination and I am certain he will justice to his talent. I can bet 100% he will be given the opportunity regardless of what some of the people here write here.

Agree. I am 100% certain Yuvi will play the next test series or at the least be in the squad.

i actually beg to differ alot of ya'll's thoughts.... i think with Yuvi its his CONFIDENCE... and his confidence is surely back.. i think he should be given a try in a test match.. becuz he can be a match winner...

You folks need to realize that Tests and ODIs are like chalk and cheese. So different. The thing about getting Yuvi in Tests is that if he struggles again, it may affect his ODI form also. Let him continue to shine in ODIs and T20. We can get more technically correct batsmen for Tests.

I would like to see us playing against a full strength WI pace attack - Raoch, Taylor, Edwards n there are a couple of youngsters they are 'big'-ing up. It would be a good yardstick for gauging our very own young brigade of batsmen ala Pujara/Kohli/Vijay.
