mahesh_g Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Pakistan team wanted this world cup more than anyone else as that would have completely changed their team morale especially when they are not playing any game at home these days. Paki Fans would have jumpled up and down, it would have been hard to stop them. They would have cursed BCCI for isolating them, etc., They would have created threads like "slap on the face to BCCI, Pawar, etc". The way they were celebrating T20 WC win 2009 is still in my memories. they were celebrating by creating joke about indian players threads. Its great feeling that we beat them in SF and won the world cup too. Now they dont have this excuse that "we never won the worlcup after beating them". :yay::yay::
Bublu Bhuyan Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 The way they were celebrating T20 WC win 2009 is still in my memories. they were celebrating by creating joke about indian players threads. :haha::haha: And how hilarious that Afridi fan boys were using that victory as a point while arguing with Indian fans about Tendulkar ..... "When was the last time Tendulkar helped his team win a World Cup?"
mahesh_g Posted April 6, 2011 Author Posted April 6, 2011 :haha::haha: And how hilarious that Afridi fan boys were using that victory as a point while arguing with Indian fans about Tendulkar ..... "When was the last time Tendulkar helped his team win a World Cup?" exactly. I heard that line million times. everytime I read that line, I would go crazy. Fortunately now they cant use that line anymore. B->
vvvslaxman Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 we would have opened a can of worms. I know this idiot Trevor chesterfield who always talks very low about Indian cricket at every opportunity. When first champions league was won by Aussie team he was endlessly making fun of IPL teams. Dhoni won the next Championship League. He shut up afterwards. We had so many such guys rooting for our loss. Btw..after typing the above i learnt Trevor chesterfield passed away today. http://www.espncricinfo.com/southafrica/content/story/509699.html
mahesh_g Posted April 6, 2011 Author Posted April 6, 2011 I don't even want to think about it :D I would have been in severe depression if that had happened. thank allah.:yay:
ravishingravi Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 It would have been a really volatile day in Mumbai. I think this was their biggest fear. City is sorely scarred
ganeshran Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Man they would have gone ballistic. There would be threads - this is ultimate humiliation for India, slap on the face, victory for the people of kashmir etc etc

The only World Cup is the 50 overs one (earlier 60). Read my sig.

There would be threads - this is ultimate humiliation for India, slap on the face, victory for the people of kashmir etc etc cant agree more. I think we indian fans have bigger hearts than them. thats why we have hardly created any threads writing bad about them or gloating about our victory.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 I thot nassar is not that bad. but atherton would have written several articles about sachin and dhoni. Nasser is as biased as they come. His commentary in the India-Eng match was simply pathetic.
