Ghor samasya cricketics, who do we rest among the bowlers .. You don't want Sree at all ? He was jolly good in SA, kept beating the bat in the second & third tests while Ishant released the pressure from the other end. No ojha either ?

I'd love to see RP in form before the England tour but he appears to have lost it. Sree will definitely make the test team. Kohli should be the reserve middle order batsman. I'm looking at the tour of England since that is the biggest test. WI should be a "fill your boots" series for our batsmen unless all their fast bowlers are fit AND they get some real pace in the wickets. I really hope it happens.

Most likely Sree will get a go in odi series too in windies, if he is doing allrite, he should get a go with Zaheer(goes without saying) and perhaps Munaf(o you remember that beauty dismissal of Gayle on last tour to windies by Munaf?)

After seeing Vijay, Pujara and Raina in the test team in SA, it is better to go with Badrinath and Rohit and/or Manish Pandey instead. I think all are same when it comes to test cricket.

It's weird and I am not a big fan of Sreesanth, still feel thats how our team is always picked. If somsone does well in a paritcular odi series, he is often called back. Though in this case, Sreesanth would retain his place in test team.

Sehwag is most certainly out of the series 12 from the SA test squad Gambhir Vijay Dravid Sachin VVS Pujara Dhoni Bhajji Ojha Zak Sree Ishant Additions: Yuvraj, Kohli, Munaf (though I hope PK is picked) I hope they pick Ashwin too (as the 16th member) as the wickets in WI tend to be loaded in favour of spinners and having 3 spinners in the squad will give us the flexibility.

Agree that Badrinath deserves a go but Kohli has leapfrogged him in the pecking order.

Munaf, Nehra & PK were playing only limited overs games in the last couple of years other than NZ in 2009. Now that he's not played the WC and is fresh, he might just get into the test squad.

We need a gradual change in the Test side. Just cant hand it over to youngster like what Australia did. Give decent chances to younster every now and than to get them experience and than retire !!

We tried to do something similar after 2009 2020 wc loss. It was same country to tour. West Indies. We got beaten there by them.
