He has made my day. I don't care about the batting superstars uncovered during IPL. We need quality fast bowlers......hope this is the beginning of the second coming of I Sharma.

Lambu ne sabki laga di. What a spell, perhaps the best by an Indian bowler in the IPL history so far. Great to see him so wonderfully well. Looks in good rhythm and is enjoying his bowling again.

This just goes on to show that there’s nothing more jolting and at the same motivating for any young Indian quick than the words – Shanthakumaran Sreesanth, world cup 2011 medal winner. :giggle: Since the day Sreesanth was part of the world cup winning team, the pacers who missed out have turned in some impressive performance – Praveen Kumar is making the ball talk in all different UP dialects, Yadav touched 150, Ishant outbowls Steyn.. Heck, EVEN Agarkar conceded only 3 4s in an over! :omg:

He has bowled similar spells but without much rewards recently against Sri Lanka at times and Australia in the test series. Bowls one of these spells out of the blue

I made the first thread for Ishant in IPL 4 and said that the guy is a changed bowler. He proved himself today. He was unlucky not top pick more wickets in the past matches as he has bowled very well and 140+ in most matches. I would recall him to the Indian team soon. Good to see him give credit to Zak too at the presentation. He works well under Zak and hopefully he is selected again. Nehra is not any better and has been having a terrible time recently. I will give Ishant a chance too. Zak, Ishant and Munaf looks a good enough pace attack.

He sucked pretty bad when he played for KKR with a price tag of 950 k. He has really emerged bowling alongside Steyn.
This, what a Shithole team KKR is.

Unbelievable. Someohow I had feeling we are going to see great spell of fast bowling either by steyn or by ishant. We had to attend a reception and had to reach there by 10.00 pm. I told my wife let me watch Ishant's first over. Boy o Boy, what an over was that..

He's been bowling like this so far in the IPL. Every time I've seen him he's been able to get the two stock deliveries - one that moves away from the batsmen and the other than is on a middle stump line that straightens - that make him such a destructive bowler at his best. This pitch just had more movement which made it more difficult to play. But so far, it's been the best he's been bowling over a few weeks since the Oz tour. I just hope he keeps it going and has fixed the issues he used to have with his wrist being behind the ball.

nah they all do well in ipl but in international cricket they are hammered. We should not get carried away by 20-20 performances.Sreesanth is still better than all of them. Kumar is useless on flat pitches Yadav has yet to prove he can take wickets and be consistent in longer version of games.
