I hope it is true...but don't be surprised if you get some arrear amount in your later bills.yeh log aissa bhi karte hain.....

Diesel cars are on a avg ~20% more expensive . you pay atleast 1 lak more for the same model ... how long will you take to recover that money ? I spend 4-5 K every month on fuel , so even if you take Diesel 50% cheaper ...I will still need 4 years ( much higher of ppl who barely do 300Km/month ) to cover the costs . if you consider the interest on the money , additional expences on maintenance .... is it really such a good deal ?

For them' date=' it makes sense.[/quote'] 4-5 K cos I still use my old Zen which gives me pretty decent mileage . you have to be doing 1000-1500km every month to spend so much money , not easy in indian cities ...like i said earlier , it depends on how much you use ur car though.

Then u r wrong my friend an LPG cylinder limit is usually 30 to 40 days and that's if u have a family of 3 - 4members u will at least need 8 to 10 cylinders u r forgetting one important aspect as well what about family gatherings or a party .

Parties ke liye subsidy chahiye logon ko! :hysterical: The limit is put on the basis of the lower middle class family who cook dal, chaawal, sabzi, rarely have people over etc. etc. If you belong to the bracket where you need to cook mutton for an hour or have a "party" then you do not and should not qualify for a subsidy. Surely if you can afford to pay Rs. 150/kg for mutton and have 15 people eat over at your place once every 2-3 weeks the extra Rs. 350 should not pinch you.

The government, on Thursday, had raised diesel price by Rs. 5.63 per litre and allowed the oil companies to price premium or branded petrol and diesel at market prices. Subsequently, the premium or branded petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs. 77.58 per litre from today as against Rs. 71.22 previously. Similarly, premium or branded diesel is being sold at Rs. 65.81 per litre as against Rs. 46.26 previously, industry sources said. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) sells premium or branded petrol under the brand name 'XtraPremium', while Bharat Petroleum calls it 'Speed'.
