Executioner Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 sallu and pappu strikes again: Posted by Sallu_bhai on (September 20 2012, 16:27 PM GMT) I amazed how newslands taylor regarded as a great batsman.. he is a handicap player on the offside..i think he started his career as a sweeper. Williamson is a good finding.. As far as bangladesh is concerned Tamim Iqbal is more worse than Sehwag in the case of consistency, and of course in talent.. Posted by Pappu_bhai on (September 20 2012, 16:57 PM GMT) As Sallu Bhai told Taylor is a handicap player in off side.Mohammad hafiz is better batsman than Taylor as he can play allround the wicket.Swap Hafeez with taylor i believe NZ will surely win as Taylor is inconsistent compared to Hafeez.
Magneto Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 much better? our bowling attack is only slightly better not to mention we dont have any decent pacer apart from mash who can be rubbish at times. Also, we all know why we lost to Irish. Our battins sux :(( 'At times' is such an understatement. He's been mostly rubbish all his career.
podi wije Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted by Pappu_bhai on (September 20 2012, 04:45 AM GMT) To be Honest I think Balaji is an intelligent bowler as compared to Steyn who can bowl slower ones also. Steyn has only one weapon which is bowl Fast. However I feel Steyn is also good as Balaji. May be steyn is more popular because he got more chances and bowling friendly wickets which Balaji didnt get.And injury also Caused problem to him.If everything was on his way he would have been far better than Steyn. :two_thumbs_up: Balaji isn't a bad spinner.wrong comparison.you can't compare an fast bowler with a spinner.why not shane warne?I mean if things worked out Balaji's way he had all the chance of becoming a great leg spinner like Warne. :yay:
maniac Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted by sportofpain on (June 19, 2013, 19:54 GMT) I think of this differently. SA are often called chokers but in reality the team is not good enough. Certainly this team does not have the same calibre as teams past so just saying they were one of the favorites does not make them so. SA is a very efficient team that gets the most out of those resources but for success on the world stage you almost always need genius - Steyn is a genius. He didn't play. AB may be one too and he failed. So the resources were really thin. In every sport brilliance will defeat efficiency because the brilliant - Maradona, Federer, Ponting, MSD, Akram will raise their game - while the merely efficient will play to potential and get beat. On to specifics, SA does not have a single spinner who is a match winner - haven't had one ever since they reappeared over 20 years ago. Just medium pacers won't cut it. Even Steyn - that force of nature can only bowl 10 overs. Sidhoni :shout:

Crookbond Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 2.39pm And we are coming off the field with this rain. A reminder that unlike that completely useless tournament, Champions Trophy, this most important tri-series has a reserve day. If, for some reason, we can't complete 20 overs today, we will come back tomorrow to continue from where we have left :haha:

cowboysfan Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Posted by Herath-UK on (July 7, 2013, 19:36 GMT) Pollard is so fortunate to win the toss & to prepare such wickets against the spirit of the game as it becomes just a lottery to win the toss & win the game. Mathews is losing very important tosses regularly having lost the recent toss against india in the icc semifinal that cost us the match. Ranil Herath - Kent ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

Crookbond Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 This is not from Cricinfo but a similar comment to 'Herath-UK'. I am quoting the context as well. http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=300138&page=4 England can't for once produce a player from their country to win something. That's because England actually isn't a country. England being forced to have it's own team is actually unfair. It's like India not having a cricket team but Andhra Pradesh fielding a team for international matches. It's for the sake of stupid tradition. We see how good a British Rugby team is with the recent lions tour. :phehehe:
SLICKR392 Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 That's because England actually isn't a country. Then what the **** is England if it isn't a country? A UT of UK? It's like India not having a cricket team but Andhra Pradesh fielding a team for international matches. Regulator at his very best. He will be here anytime now whinging on how we are right because its an Indian forum and any English or Pak forum will consider Andhra Pradesh as a country.
Crookbond Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Ctrl+F for 'England' and the ISO defines it as a 'country' but sure that is 'unfair' too. http://www.iso.org/iso/newsletter_i-9.pdf The United Kingdom is made up of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Its full name is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. http://web.archive.org/web/20080209003312/http://www.number-10.gov.uk/output/Page823.asp Also, I'm sure the above was written by Queen Elizabeth's nephew.
GoldenSun Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted by Muhammad Siddique on (November 10, 2013, 18:19 GMT) the two legends are come back now the whole world of cricket will see Pakistan team becomes a new winning squad just see....... Vilander Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 And yes, quite a few of you have said that finally Harper has made the right decision. Kamal sends in this lovely conspiracy theory. The disclaimer at the end takes the cake. "Harper was the ICC's final weapon against BCCI to make them accept UDRS. Now since India has accepted, Harper has been made to withdraw from his duties. It is all part of conspiracy theory, you know. For a record, I'm not from Pakistan. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Crookbond Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 dale: "am i the only one who noticed england seems to have Balance today. hopefully they can go a few sessions on the Trott without losing wickets and make the indians Cook under pressure. if these two Root themselves in until the Bell tomorrow, the they will have Broad smiles after closing down indias Prior two days performance." Yes, pun master. I have been expecting you
