sarcastic Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Nice way to jinx a guy :hahaha: ++ That's what everyone here is trying to do I guess!!!:icflove:
saneindian Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Good knock but wasted a chance to get to his maiden century.
Number Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Will be disappointed the way he was trying to compete with Ashwin before giving away his wicket idiotically. but fine knock , better than what we were used to of seeing from our no 6.
Rohit S. Ambani Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Virat Kohli is going the Yuvraj Singh way? Great in Limited Overs Cricket and iffy in Test Cricket? Both are match-winners for India in ODIs and T20s, both have breath-taking timing and shot making when on song, both good fielders, both have good general attitude. Is playing toooo many ODIs taking it's toll on Virat Kohli's first class format performance? We should rotate youngsters in ODIs, Kohli deserve's break from mindless INDIA vs SRI LANKA ODI's. He is a great prodigy and he needs proper care.
vamos_rafa Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 The title of OP is too far fethced considering he was our best bat in the previous 2 tests. But, yes, it was a bit dissapoinitng the way he got out yesterday. I feel he's not able to rotate strikes against the spinners. He played out 40+ deliveries in both a'bad 1st innings and in mumbai as well to score around 10 runs.
Trichromatic Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 So far he has played most on flat tracks of ODIs and T20s. He has shown that he can handle pressure well and his technique isn't bad. Give him some time.

namasteji1 Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Remember the Adelaide Test century where every other failed except Kohli for India?
SLICKR392 Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 This time around he just looked upset and started muttering something looking at the sky. No MC BC!! Will score big in the next game!!!
Silva Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 hes in good form and playing in home pitches and if he can't score in the next two matches you have to ask if his ODI exploits make him a good test player.
chota_prakash Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 He just doesn't look convincing in Test matches. He doesn't seem as confident or as sure of his game as he is in ODIs. We will know by the end of the series.
nitinbwj Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Getting out on a horrendous ball..may be he is thinking too much.didnt play his natural game
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 He doesnt seem confident when having to defend the ball for long periods i.e. 2-3 overs, whereas someone like Pujara oozes class with his foot work and balance even when facing good deliveries. I cant remember any good test innings he has played (apart from maybe away at WI), he will be given more time due to his odi form but needs to start producing.
