urbestfriend Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 :hmmm: Lot of guys are hysterical, can't stop, giggle, hehehe ...Whats going on in this thread?
Khalpat Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 A Paki giving his heart out to defend an English Tontee-Tontee league :hehe: Beggars are not choosers friend. They are happy that atleast someone have called them for playing. Let Ethopia and Zimbabwe have their T20 League, they would give their life to prove why these leagues are better. Come IPL5, give their bhikhari players some khairat and they will be dancing at our tune so no worries.
El_Pipita Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 ICL is better than both come on guys look at this : Chris Cairns, Damien Martyn, Marvan Atapattu, Russel Arnold, Imran Nazir, Mohammed Yousuf, Mohammed Sami, Inzi, Saqi, Habibul Bashar,Stuart Binny, etc etc etc, and Gavaskar junior come on man! (not really his son but oh well)

Dayman Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Gayle will never make a 40 ball 100 in FLt20. 44 Ball Ton :giggle:
Dayman Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 And isn't FLT20 the league where Tim southee made a 30-ball 70 opening? LOL at it being better quality than the IPL.
yoda Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I think there was more crowd for the CCL games than this Family shyte.
zoi321 Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I have to agree with you rana bhai IPL is a fake tamasha league the real standards are in English leagues.
cowboysfan Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 does pakistan have any of these animals in their logos, seems a random collection of animals which are not native to their "country"
mishra Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Serious question... So are there any foreign players in FLT20? By the name they all sound local. Or are there Some Afghani,Bangladeshi,Kuwaiti in the team?
ensd2 Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 I think there was more crowd for the CCL games than this Family shyte. There are more crowd in my village cricket match , with tennis ballB->B->B->B->B->B->
TheWall Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 My son hates Effffff-LT and likes IPL. Thats it. Period. IPL Rocks....
Serani Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 There are more crowd for FLT than tests therefore FLT is far superior to tests, good logic guyz.
ganeshran Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 There are more crowd for FLT than tests therefore FLT is far superior to tests' date=' good logic guyz.[/quote'] No one brought Tests here. A test lover would most probably equally hate FLT and IPL. But within the context of 20-20 leagues - IPL is better than FLT on most parameters one would judge a league on.
Mariyam Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Your street people find all the time in the world to buy a 5 rupee ticket to watch Pune warriors v Knight Riders (what a batty name). You have no clue. Good tickets for the latter stages of the IPL ( especially here in Mumbai) cost in excess of 3000 Rs. Thats the starting point. There are obviously more expensive tickets available. But if you want to go down that lane, what are the ticket costs for the English T 20? How much is the television revenue? How much do ad slots during the matches cost for your T 20? The IPL will outperform you on these metrics. So you were defending IPL without even knowing the other side of the story at first? You are guilty of the same. Besides, whats the point of these comparisons? Can't you enjoy your league and we enjoy ours? Even if your league was a 1000 times better than ours ( which it is not, I'm just speaking hypothetically) , I would still enjoy the IPL just as much. If you want to judge which teams are stronger, wait for the champions league of T 20. Last time I checked, it was Chennai Super Kings ( yup, retarded name, I know) who are the defending champions.
EnterTheVoid Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 What the hell is FLT? Fools, losers and tossers? :WTF:
mishra Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 If you want to judge which teams are stronger, wait for the champions league of T 20. So you cant definitively decide
ganeshran Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Ticket prices for the FL T20 matches are 15 pounds according to Glost site. If we adjust this for purchasing power it will come to around Rs 500 - 550. Comibined with the low stadium capacity and comparatively lower turnout for FLT20, aggregate collection per match would be significantly lower in FLT than IPL

So even without adjustment, its at par with the cheaper tickets of the IPL. :giggle: But Ganesh, revenue from ticket sales makes up a very small percentage of earnings for the Franchises. Do you have any idea how much they get from television rights and such like?
