mishra Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Dada, One of the great sons of Indian cricket.... Was strongly criticized for his tit for tat action in Lords.... TBF we have seen allmost everything in the cricket world. Betting, Scandals, Wives behaving badly, you name it... But for Dada, I think world media has allmost gone into fault finding/recording mission. I am saying this because I was looking at wiki and was surprised to see how many vices they have mentioned against Dada "His Lancashire teammate Andrew Flintoff thought him to be aloof and compared his attitude to that of Prince Charles. In Australia's three Test and five match ODI tour of India in early 2001, Ganguly caused controversy by arriving late for the toss on four occasions, something that agitated opposing captain Steve Waugh.[38] In the Fourth ODI, he caused further controversy by failing to wear his playing attire to the toss, something considered unusual in cricket circles" Are these incidents realy worth mentioning on wiki page? I find them tasteless
deepak_sach Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 @mishragreat I think you are not an Indian. First you posted tendulkar getting hit by akhtar and now this.
Serani Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 How is this deepak sach allowed to post this rubbish all day?
ganeshran Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 None of the statements you mentioned are POV which wikipedia doesn't allow. If its a relevant fact which is backed up by sources then it cannot be chucked out of a wiki article
Mariyam Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 @Mishragreat: Wikipedia is hardly reflective of what the 'world media' thinks. Also, you can register at Wikipedia and say the exact same thing that you've said here, by editing the entry there. That relatively speaking Dada is just as bad and his vices just as many as any other cricketer etc etc etc
DomainK Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 The toss move was brilliant. Not too many managed to get on Steve Waugh's nervers. Dada is a legend.

If you go late for a toss, or if you call heads or tails later ( I mean when the coin is on its way down) your chance to win the toss increases?
Andy Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I didn't understand. If you go late for a toss, or if you call heads or tails later ( I mean when the coin is on its way down) your chance to win the toss increases? No if you do that You are just one Brown Bastard.
