THX_1138 Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 So how much are we going to surrender this game by? 100 runs? 200 runs? i expect us to fold up for about 200-220 odd. pitiful bowling by our ace spinner, spineless surrender by our captain, and absolutely abysmal fielding.
THX_1138 Posted July 24, 2011 Author Posted July 24, 2011 - 2 wickets you mean negative three dont you? zaheer, gambhir and tendulkar are unlikely to bat.
Sachinism Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 We're drawing this game Don't buy the crap Sky commentators are telling you. The batting gods are in our side
Sid Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Predict India's score for Day 5 India 369-7 :om: Keep the scores coming P.S : Closest will get 2 million :--D
Ultimate_Game Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Draw. We will find a way somehow. The key would be the first hour tomorrow and if we survive that we should be able to hold on.
flamy Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 you mean negative three dont you? zaheer' date=' gambhir and tendulkar are unlikely to bat.[/quote'] what happen-ded to these three?
Cricket Tragic Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 U mad brah? 9 wickets on the last day at Lord's is not going to happen.
Ultimate_Game Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 U mad brah? 9 wickets on the last day at Lord's is not going to happen. But it's a long day - 98 overs if I'm not mistaken. Plus our batsmen are not exactly in the best shape to play out time. We wil need a little bit of luck to get out of jail here.
Cricket Tragic Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Lord's is a road on day 5. You won't find too many better day 5 pitches around the world. SA in 2008 and Australia in 2009 are recent examples. We might lose if we bat like retards but a decent batting performance will see us through.

Lax and Dravid batting already and with Tendu coming in at 7 only it kind of feels risky as Raina and Dhoni to follow who are capable but are not inform.

To be fair, despite his failure in the first innings, Raina is in form - good tour of WI and then scored a 100 in the warm up game here. Though he will need to go against his natural attacking game here.
