Loving Dada's commentary

He has been sharp and insightful. Plus I really like that he always backs the boys and gives it back to Nass and the other english commies. He has been much better than when he started. Looking forward to Warne and Dada together in the commentary box later this year.

Yes! There was also a slight show of backbone from Harsha when he said, "Whenever there is talk of one country controlling the rules of the game to suit itself, the mind goes back to 1974".

*snigger* Gotta love Harsha's subtle, underhanded remarks. Naughty Bwoi, Harshoo.

I admire his positive and can do attitude. He was the only one in the commentary team who was giving Nasser some back for his condescending attitude towards the Indian team.

@Sachinism During a lull he started talking about how during England's tour of India in 72/73 Chandra once took 6 in an innings in a match India won. And by the time India toured England in 74, they had brought in a rule limiting the number of fielders on the onside as a way to negate England's weakness against spin. And after recounting these events he said that line about one country controlling the rules of the game....

IT may be about those good old days when cricket was cricket :winky:. I In 1970, the ICC voted to suspend South Africa as reaction to aparthied policy of its government. In 1974 whole of Africa was ready to boycott Commonwealth games If elite three (England, Autralia, Newzealnd) were to go ahead with their plan to resume cricketing ties with South Africa. I am not sure but I think by 1974 here Harsha may be referring to high headness of ECB and CA during those days.
