Thats what I had thought,Harbhajan *the great spinner* Singh is going to play all 4 tests, this series can feck off,we need to give confidence to our great spinner.

the best spinner in the world right now (no not bhajji) took 1 wicket more then bhajji, even though eng were on top all 5 days...look at it that way :proud:

Not at least in this series. It would a mistake to play him again. Pitches are going to be flat or helpful only to pacers. Either play with 4 seamers and 3 seamers and Mishra.

Even if Swann had picked 10 wickets in this match and Bhajji none, but he had bowled well to maintain pressure and support our bowlers I would have backed him for the series. Why are even comparing them?

Bhajji is just the symptom, please address the Rootcause of this failure----> Pathetic, unprofessional, half a**,carefree preparation for tour against the #2 team @ their Home. You could have Mishra or for that matter MURLI or SHANE WARNE play this test match, India would have still lost.

I wouldn't just drop Bhajji, I would drop him with a stern message that he's not coming back into the side until he can improve and regain form with consistent performances.

The thing is Mishra is bowling like a **** and is a no-ball machine. If we had Ojha in England i think it would be worth dropping him but Mishra has bowled as bad, if not worse than Harbhajan recently.

As much as I/many others gently take the mick, it is genuinely sad watching him play most of the time. He is going through the motions with his bowling - there is no joy or feeling there. And he is actually a competent batsman but went out there intent on going down swinging...what's the use in that if you have been telling us about how you work hard at it? You can't really emphasise enough how much he needs to be left out. But there we go.

Don't expect much from his bowling these days, but was even more disappointing to see him throw it away with the bat, given his recent improvements....oh well.

India should get 4 seamers for rest of the series. Munaf is an ordinary test bowler, but he can bowl tight line and length with consistency and he will support other bowlers better than Bhajji. Drop Bhajji for the series. Let him practice in India and bring him back for home series.

Unfortunately the test spinner cupboard is bare.
No it is not we have some very nice ones thank you. It mystifies me that India who have the most spin friendly pitches in the world are not producing more world class spinners?

Like I said yesterday, our over rate stinks even with a spinner. If we play 4 seamers, we'll end up bowling 10 overs an hour. You have to pick the best team for the conditions but this is something to consider as well.
