But at home in english conditions' date=' that too for a team with niggles and trying to save a game[/quote'] But you have all being saying when the sun shines he cant take wickets no? He didnt even get wickets with swing in this innings, what a bowler.

Pressure to keep your wicket in the 4th innings is multiplied a million times and plays on the batsman's mind. Hes a good bowler when the ball is swinging,I'll admit that but a mediocre bowler otherwise. The same Anderson got thrashed in the WC..forget that ??:giggle:

Oh woops 5-65 on a flat track in glorious sunshine :giggle:
Laxman - very unlucky not to get it over, hardly owned by anderson Tendulkar - His record speaks for himself at Lords Bhaji - Rash shot Dravid - lost concentration, hardly a corker! Raina - good delivery :hatsoff: to Anderson, but I wouldnt go over the top, considering it wasnt one of his most fluent 5ivers I see, but still he maintained good composure and line and length to get the wickets ( All im saying is dont go too overboard... you understand :winky:)

Anderson has been upgraded from a overcast bully to home track bully' date=' job well done jimmy.[/quote'] I never called him an overcast bully. But when one says that Thilan Samaraveera's 50+ average has no meaning because of continuous batting on easy home tracks, then the same logic should be applied to bowlers who perform well only in friendly or familiar conditions.

Generally bowlers who do well, get some easy wickets. Those are the parts which come from bowling well, maintaining pressure and support from other bowlers/fielders. We see many times batsman getting completely beaten on best deliveries. Look at the whole match. You'll find very few batsman who were not dismissed by their own mistake and were outplayed good balls. Anderson bowled very good line and length and he got rewarded for that. Good performance.
