There bowling isnt exciting....Is England the most boring Side in World Cricket?England batting is boring for you coz they are compiled runs yesterday.Rather thread title must be Indian bowling is boring coz they could not stop England from compiling huge total(of course thats understandable in the absence of zaheer and India left with only 3 bowlers) Link to comment

Never denied that....talking about the mental aspect of this strategy,this is like telling the opposition we surrender. He had 2 parttimers in Raina and SRT,a much better strategy would be try and bowl negative line to frustrate the opposition and let the opposition make a mistake. He did a decent job and the conditions called for a medium pacer, not Raina or Sachin bowling off spin. He almost got Pietersen out if it wasnt for DRS. Its good to see a captain like Dhoni thinking out of the box rather than previous captains who were very conservative in their approach. Link to comment

As many people have already said, he almost got a wicket. That's what part-timers are there for. Roll their arms over and get a fluke wicket. So, he rolled the dice.
