I am also a coffee lover. I consume several mugs of strong coffee in a day. But somehow I am not addicted.
hmmm.. have you tried staying w/o it for a week or so... no sources of caffeine at all.

I am sorry for telling this in this post. i can sleep for 24 hours. I think its psychological as well. U gotta believe in u that u r the ****ing best, U need to be mentally very strong to achieve it. Its not easy but u can actually do it by practice.

I was saying that u have to be confidedent of urself. Questions raise in ur mind and u r not stable when ur confident is pretty low. And thats where we start to worry our future. So be confident and believe in urself and ur abilities. I have suffered a lot in my personal life but i believe in myself that i can get better. And thats what my signature says. Rocky balboa's quote.

I can fall asleep in less than 5 mins flat on most days. 48 hours is insane, yes time to see a doctor. Blue_Panther, I don't think you need to think so deep just to fall asleep. LOL!

it's been 46 hours since I've last slept' date=' moreover i could sleep only 3 hrs to the maximum each day. i know its weird i should consult a doctor. one thing that i couldn't get is a good sleep.[/quote']How have you been post the 46 hrs...mind working alright? If it is then you have a problem - possibly lifestyle changing too quickly. I've had this problem for some time now...almost 3 yrs. I go with hardly 2 hrs sleep in a day for over a month or two and then sleep off continuously (almost) for 2 days. The problem is that the mind works decently without sleep which I think is dangerous because it gives a false sense of confidence about my lifestyle. I suggest you consider some life style changes if its a developing problem. I also caution you that medication is not the solution. In the long run they will only increase the problem.

I dunno what to suggest you in such a case coz I seem to have the same problem and have not found a solution to it. I know that medication is not a solution though. It's a lifestyle change...it also could be because of your exams and all? I know I had a similar lifestyle during my exams just that the sleeping happened after the one month of studies before-during the exams. I can tell you that you can make the best of what "is". Learn to teach your mind (most functions of it) to go off to sleep even when you are physically active...that way it will help you keep your mind fresh. But the risk is that you will be hastening your lifestyle change.

Hmm... I sometimes have this nights of runny mind, where I just can't stop thinking. It gets worse when I know I have to wake up early the next day and pressure myself to sleep. These days I just smoke some Damiana. It helps.

LOL! Long time back I made a conscious decision not to use an external agent (medicine or true medicine if u know what I mean) to forcibly induce sleep. It helped me in a way - I just got better at managing the mind to sleep at times when the body is awake. I am actually wishfully searching to find some mention somewhere that this is a good practice and that mental sleep and physical sleep must not necessarily be at the same time. So that it would give me some reason to believe I am doing alright...lol! I remember someone somewhere mentioning something like, ppl who have a heightened sense of connection with their consciousness tend to sleep less. Have been holding on to that bu!l ever since...LOL!
