Rajiv Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 I think , Waqar said that. It's very true, jab chalti hain, to bahut chalti hain..the midas touch is gone. Dhoni looks like a lost puppy, in a way - it might be good since you need to taste defeat to overcome lot of things and be a great captain. So this tour's 3rd class display is supposed to open lotta eyes, but will it work? not sure I know this was a T20 but we gave him in the middle
Texy Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Is this the beginning of the end of Dhoni? He looks totally out of it.... captaincy, batting, keeping
Sid Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 You're hoping for it' date=' aren't you?[/quote'] :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Yoda-esque Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 You're hoping for it' date=' aren't you?[/quote'] Why?Doesn't he like MS?
1983-2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 nah, we'll have srt, viru, gambo, yuvi, zaheer back but dont want bhajji ffs
Aaku Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 You're hoping for it' date=' aren't you?[/quote'] :cantstop: But no :D
Mariyam Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 People being too harsh on Dhoni. He's still the best captain we've ever had. And in addition to the batting he also brings cool rational decision making to the table. Who else can offer that. He may be out of form with the bat, but he's still a thinking captain. I'll reserve my criticism of Dhoni after his and the team's performance in the next series. Lets see how he can bounce back. He's had many successful tours and a great WC. All that cannot get canceled by just one bad series.
Trichromatic Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Better question is when will this debacle end at least temporarily?
jaggadaku Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 give any other captain Munaf, Vinayr, Praveen, Ashwin and see how he'll do
Blue Panther Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Dhoni's mind was cool in hot indian conditions and won the wc. Because his mind is so cool , it got freezed in england's cold conditions and not working properly.

Blue Panther Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Lekin abhi to wahan summer season hai? why are they wearing sweaters then?
Mariyam Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 why are they wearing sweaters then? So that people ask them this question. To break ice in general conversations. Our introverted cricketers don't have the confidence to start a conversation with the locals. They have to dress weirdly so that people notice and start talking. :P
Trichromatic Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Dhoni's luck will be back when India stops bringing crappiest players from domestic cricket to international cricket and have a proper team.
Lord Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 cant blame luck if u play VK.Dhoni got lucky it went to last over
Malcolm Merlyn Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Well we ae missing 5 of our regular players..........cant blame Dhoni..... Sehwag,Gambhir,Zaheer,Bhajji and Yuvi Bhajji is still a good run stopper and can score runs also....Yuvi would have given us another spin option......Zaheer is Zaheer.....he would have bowled the last over.... Sehwag and Gambhir..........well i dont need to say more........once the injured players are back.............4of them should be back quickly........we will be a better team.......
Cricket Tragic Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 With the volume of cricket being played today, you will rarely (if ever) play the best 11 over a series. This has been bad in terms of the number of injuries but we have to get used to not having the best 11.
