OP, in all fairness, Ravindra Jadeja is a decent substitute. He can score a few quick runs, get out and then bowl just as bad as Vinay Kumar. Comparing the two isn't fair.

Jadeja always bats well in the IPL. If your picking him as an "all-rounder", I'd instead pick Yusuf Pathan. I've been a big Jadeja supporter since ages, but he is not an all-rounder.
