In England, he has hit one half century so far in the ODIs. Failed in remaining two. Needs to perform really well in the next two.

Pagalpanti Posted September 9, 2011 Author Posted September 9, 2011 ^ True, also Zaheer isn't getting any younger, too bad though that he struck good form in the latter end of his career. He'll be good for around 1-2 years more max(hopefully), don't see him playing in the 2013 test championship.

On multiple occasions he berated the fielders for not getting the ball back fast enough, even though it was clear to all and sundry that it would have been impossible for them to move faster than they did. On one occasion he yelled at a fielder for an overthrow, even though he had made no effort to get behind the wicket to take the ball when it missed the stumps. What was really bad was that EVERYONE saw it, and it just seemed like he was taking out his frustration on his teammates because he hadn't bowled well.

I've supported his inclusion in the team and he has done well recently but he was terrible today. If he can't be bothered to give it everything in the field and while bowling, he can get on the next flight home. I hope that he improves in the next couple of games. I disagree with the bit about the fielding. I thought that it was pretty good and there was excellent energy in the field generally. We're never going to be consistently amazing. I don't understand why we don't get a sub like Tiwary on for someone like Dropthiv or Dravid. We used Raina in the WC like that when he didn't play. Stokes :hahaha: The way that some of the English batsmen played the spinners should be noted. I hope that we use our home advantage next month.

Thats not very good, gotta be embarrassing after winning the world cup to drop so far. I guess thats how it is these days when no teams have a firm grasp on the number one spot, lose a series or two and drop down big.

Might succeed only in the SC yes...he tries to play too much front on to play on side shots more often. He plays very indecisive shots around off stump.
