The Realist
He's not even very talented - no real outstanding skills in batting or bowling. His continous selection makes no sense at any level. The obvious conclusion is that he has friends in high places or some dirt on them. Either way he is not being picked based on merit or performance. Link to comment
Sean Bradley
Even if we pick a retired Dhanraj Pillai or Baichung Bhutia, they will do better than this dhonis 69 positioner! :flirt: Link to comment
Number
^that too for sure, he was top allrounder. thats why he is in indian team. He is definately not a number 7 batsman, He can good repair job (as he did in England at run a ball), he needs to bat higher up the order. He can , as a bowler :--D Link to comment

youngindia
The bits and bob players I can think of are Madan Lal, Roger Binny and to an extent Manoj Prabhakar and Chetan Sharma. Jadeja is not even remotely suitable to tie shoe laces of any of these players. All these were genuine bowlers and I dare say lot better contributor with bat as well. rubbish. you don't understand the type of player jadeja is. He is a batsman who can bowl a bit,say better than raina. His batting foundation is pretty decent and can go a long way. first he has to learn more destructive abilities in sub continent conditions before figuring thigns outside asia.many of you jumping the gun. but the foundation is there. he is way more talented than manoj ever was. youngindia
The problem is you cannot look beyond the obvious for example this man had the following record in 1994 over a five year career. Matches 74 batting Average 17.86 bowling average 33 51 wickets 1 100 his name is SJ. what record did he end up with? have patience. Some people will come good. Link to comment

youngindia
^:hysterical: Comparing sanath jayasuriya with jaddu. the real issue is whether you would have predicted how sanath would have developed in 1994.his game looked lot different then. speaking later with benefit of hindsight is not talent spotting,.:hysterical: i am sure you would have been clueless about sanath in 1994 ,clueless about jadeja in 2012 and will be clueless about another youngster in 2035 as well. I doubt Jaddu can ever come close to doing so. Link to comment
GautiMaan
You can't compare the quality of bowling that sj faced then with jadeja today. The only thing to "spot" about jaddu is that he's a malnourished, overpaid chamcha of dhoni. Link to comment
India-KXIP fan
Sachin Tendulkar is the most selfish and overrated player he should retire immediately. Now that I have your attention This thread is now about master blaster Ravindra Jadega, for all his fans who believe in his spin bowling talent, batting talent and passion for India. We will monitor his progress Please Remember Ravindra Jadega is a very good all round player with a triple hundred to his name in First class cricket. He is a great option as second specialist spinner in our Test squad considering recent performences of 2/130 by gutter level seamers like Sreesanth :giggle: "he could walk into any test team in any era"- Kapil Dev "he reminds me of my playing days"-Gary Sobers Link to comment

The Outsider
Oh man! Here comes youngindia with his annual diarrhea of being able to identify tailunt after being owned, used, and disposed in the Kohli/Raina debate. :hysterical: Link to comment
India-KXIP fan
If you look at his domestic record he is a good first class player but his List A is horrible with that 70 in England being his highest score. Good first class and IPL player but definitely not International class. Link to comment
